Four people were stabbed at the Encino Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.
According to LAPD, the victims were two doctors and nurses. These three victims are believed to be in serious condition.
After the stabbing, the male attacker took refuge in the hospital’s room.
A representative from the hospital stated that the attacker was taken into custody at approximately 5 p.m. PST.
On June 3, one of the Encino Hospital victims was taken on a stretcher.
Following being stabbed Friday afternoon by an attacker, the victim was brought to Encino Hospital.

It began at 3:50 PM and occurred in close proximity to the hospital’s emergency rooms.
Hospital declared an “internal catastrophe” and stopped admitting patients. Visitors were not allowed to enter.
While the assailant was inside barricaded, SWAT officers were notified by the LAPD. Unknown if SWAT units were sent.
For treatment, the victims were transferred to Northridge Hospital.
Footage from ABC 7 showed a victim being wheeled out on a stretcher, while scenes from KTLA News 5 showed another victim being taken out in a wheelchair.
While the identities of these victims have not been revealed, NBC LA was told by a witness that they had seen two nurses and a female surgeon with serious wounds.
Ventura Boulevard is still closed just outside the hospital.
On Friday, after receiving reports that an attack had been committed inside the Encino Hospital Medical Center’s Encino Hospital Medical Center building, emergency personnel rushed outside.
