3. PRINCESS OF TIKTOK
Addison Rae has 85.8m fans

Screen queen: Addison Rae (US creator), is pictured at British Fashion Awards. She’s the third-largest TiKTok name.

Support system: The influencer is close with her parents, Sheri Nicole Easterling and Monty Lopez, and her younger brothers
TikTok star Addison Rae could well serve as the poster child for ‘overnight success,’ having shot to global fame — at least among her fellow Gen Zers — in a matter of months after securing her status as one of the video app’s most popular users.
Two years ago, she uploaded her first posting on Instagram. The 21-year old has transformed from an unassuming Louisiana teenager to social media celebrity to “It Girl,” complete with brand deals and lucrative friends like Kourtney Kim Kardashian. She also received a Vogue spread, cementing her position as a Hollywood superstar.
As quickly as her star as risen, so have her earnings, with Addison — whose full name is Addison Rae Easterling — being named as TikTok highest-paid star, pulling in an estimated $5 million in earnings in just one year.
However, long before her social media success, Addison lived in Los Angeles with her family and began to pal around with celebrities like the Kardashians. She was an aspiring dancer who struggled to keep up with her family.
Addison was the son of Monty Lopez and Sheri Nicole Easterling. He was born on October 6th 2000 in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Sheri Nicole was just 21 years old and had been dating Monty for a year when Addison became their first child. Sheri Nicole became a single mom after her husband divorced one year later.

Low-key: Addison, like many teenagers, began to film herself at home in Louisiana. However, unlike most, her clips have amassed millions of views
In fifth grade, she and her family temporarily moved to Texas where they lived for 2 years. Sheri Nicole was still divorcing Monty when their youngest son Lucas arrived. (Both Addison brothers took their father’s last names, Lopez. However, she keeps her mother’s maiden surname.
After Monty got a job offer he couldn’t refuse, the family returned to Louisiana — this time the northern part of the state — when Addison was about to start eighth grade. Their living room was furnished with ‘pool seats’ and they moved to an apartment.
As a teenager Addison had always been dancing and had set her sights on the Louisiana State University Tiger Girls dance team. Because she was determined to achieve her goal, Addison skipped her senior prom in order to go to tryouts.
Although she passed the first round of interviews, her heart broke and she had to be cut. She ultimately decided to go to the school, and her family moved to Baton Rouge with her to save money on room and board — but she wasn’t there for long.
Addison joined TikTok as a volunteer in July 2019. This was the summer she had just finished her first year at LSU where she studied broadcast journalism.

Mentor: Addison developed close relationships with Kourtney Kardashian and has since taken Addison under her wing. As her star rose, Addison was able to score branded merchandise, sponsored content and partnerships, such as one with American Eagle.

Netflix deal: Addison also launched ITEM Beauty, a new brand of clean makeup. It is a joint venture between Madeby and Addison. A multi-film Netflix agreement has also been signed by Addison, which is valued at millions of dollars. He’s All That was her first movie.
Forbes reported that she can recall the date on which one million people followed her, and it was October 27, 2019. People began to recognise her at campus because of her videos that featured her lip-syncing and dancing.
She recalled that her name was called when she was walking up to class. It was quite mind-blowing.
One month later she quit school. She also shared her first sponsored content article for Fashion Nova. She had already moved to Los Angeles in December 2019 to make her budding celebrity a career.
Befriending other TikTokers, she helped to form Hype House which is a collective of content creators that has its home in an LA house with the same name.
Her star rose, and she was awarded branded merchandise deals as well as sponsored content. Forbes estimated that she earned $5 Million between June 30, 2019, and June 30, 2020. These two revenue streams accounted for nearly two-thirds her total earnings.
Addison was signed to the WME talent agency in January 2020. This agency also represents her parents. She was also named as a spokesperson for American Eagle that year and featured in both digital and printed campaigns, as well as television spots.
In addition, she launched ITEM Beauty, a new line of makeup that is clean and natural. This joint venture was formed with Madeby. Her multi-film Netflix deal is worth several million dollars.
