Numerous people were injured, and Search and Rescue crews were dispatched after the second story of a bar collapsed.
Seven people were rescued from Hackney Wick’s Two More Years bar. A number of others have received treatment at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
Firefighters rescued the group from the area where the mezzanine floor had fallen, but left them trapped.
Photographs taken on site show that paramedics and police officers were present at numerous patients’ treatment.
At this point, it is unclear how many were hurt in the incident.

Eight people were saved from Hackney Wick’s Two More Years bar. A few others received immediate treatment and were taken to the hospital.
Many people are now injured, and an investigation is ongoing after the second story of Hackney Wick’s popular bar collapsed.
Two More Years, Hackney Wick was evacuated by emergency personnel at 4.50 pm on Saturday, February 12.
Sacha Clement of London Fire Brigade was on scene. She said, “Firefighters conducted a systematic search in the building and saved eight people.”
Crews were forced to rescue them from the rest of the mezzanine floors.
“We are cooperating with emergency service partners. A number of people were treated on the spot and then taken to hospital.”
Photos taken in Roach Road depict dozens of paramedics, police officers, and other emergency personnel present at the scene. They treated the patients right outside the bar with their hands.
London Fire Brigade spokeswoman confirmed the collapse of a mezzanine at the bar. Search and rescue personnel were then called in
London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said, “We were called today at 4:44 PM (12 February) to Roach Road Hackney Wick to report that a part of an building had fallen.” The scene was attended to by a variety of emergency personnel.
Crews respond to patients immediately and collaborate closely with the emergency personnel.
London Fire Brigade spokesperson confirmed that a mezzanine floor had fallen at the bar as rescue teams were dispatched.
There are three engines of fire from Homerton, Bethnal Green, and Leyton fire stations, as well two rescue units and ambulances from East Ham stations.
