Twelve people will stand trial in Paris over a £7.4million jewellery heist targeting Kim Kardashian West in 2016, authorities revealed on Friday.
According to the reality TV star, she was held hostage at gunpoint by two armed robbers who forced their way into her apartment in Paris during Fashion Week.
Five years after the investigation began, the investigator judges decided to send the case for trial. A judicial official stated Friday.

The theft brought forth a wide range of accusations against each suspect.
Officials would not confirm any details and have yet to set a trial date.
Kardashian West’s French lawyer didn’t immediately respond to our request.
Judges have sent the case to trial after five years of investigations. Kim Kardashian West was robbed in Paris during Fashion Week 2016.
Many suspects were released without charge to be tried for medical reasons. Yunice Abbas (68), one of five people accused of carrying the heist, published a book last year about the event.
Aomar Ait Khedache (the alleged mastermind) wrote Kardashian West an apology from prison, stating that he regretted his actions and recognizes the psychological harm he had caused.
A Kardashian West spokeswoman said that Kardashian West was physically and mentally unharmed but she had been severely shaken.
Kim and Kourtney went to Paris with their sister Kourtney in October 2016, to attend Paris Fashion Week.

Kardashian West said that she can’t sleep if her house has any ‘expensive’ items in a reunion episode on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
