Her Majesty’s mini me! A letter is sent to a US toddler from Her Majesty thanking her for wearing a’splendid monarch’ costume for Halloween

After dressing up for Halloween, a US toddler caught the eye of Queen Elizabeth II.

Jalayne Sutherland, one, from Ohio, received a letter from Her Majesty after sporting an adorable double-breasted overcoat with matching hat for Halloween,   

The toddler added a white wig and string pearls and posed with her family’s corgis for an extra royal touch to go trick of treating.

Her mum, Katelyn Sutherland, sent the snaps to Buckingham Palace and never expected a reply so was shocked when she got a letter back from the Queen’s lady in waiting the Hon Marry Morrison.

Jalayne Sutherland one from Ohio was sent a letter to Her Majesty for her adorable Halloween double-breasted jacket and matching hat.

According to her, The Mirror was inspired by the fact that their dogs were our daughters best friends.

We wanted to make sure they were all included in the same event. The Royal family is a favorite of ours and we admire her faith. 

“While we were out on Halloween, we got many compliments, but I loved the reactions of people who bowed or made the royal gesture and said, “Your Majesty!”

The letter from the palace read: ‘The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photograph you thoughtfully enclosed.

It comes as the Queen (pictured) spend a low-key Christmas at Windsor Castle with Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince Edward and Sophie having to tone down her usual Sandringham celebrations due to the outbreak of omnicron.

“Her Majesty felt it was kind of you, and the Queen was happy to see the photo of your daughter Jalayne in her magnificent outfit.

“Her Majesty wishes you all a Merry Christmas. I’m attaching some information on the Royal Pets that Jalayne may like.

The stamp was inscribed with the Windsor Castle emblem and it was dated 9th December 2021. 

The Queen is spending a quiet Christmas at Windsor Castle, with Prince Charles and Camilla as well as Prince Edward, Prince Edward, Sophie, having to reduce her Sandringham festivities due to the omnicron.

The Queen will personally present the Duchess Cornwall with the most prestigious honour due to her’services to the sovereign’ as part of New Year’s Honour Celebrations.

Buckingham Palace stated that Camilla would be made a Royal Lady of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. It is the most senior and oldest Orders of Chivalry, in Britain.

This appointment is a royal endorsement for Camilla’s loyalty and discretion since 2005, when she married Prince Charles.
