An owner caught his dog, a crime analyst, destroying the family Christmas tree when it left him alone.
Casey Roberts installed a camera at her Maryland home so that she could watch her dog Lexi and Dexter throughout the day.
Roberts was able to see Boxer Lexi pulling on the electric cable connecting the Christmas tree lights with the power socket in a CCTV camera inspection.
Dexter and Lexi were alone at home in Maryland, when Lexi decided that it was time to examine the Christmas tree, drag it around and take their boxers Lexi and Dexter with them.
Lexi reached for the cable and pulled it. However, she didn’t know that her actions were being recorded by CCTV.
Lexi pulled at the cable till the tree fell and crashed to the ground.

Roberts, 26 years old said: “We have a surveillance camera inside the house so that I can see what they do throughout the day.
‘I was having a strange feeling when I went to look at the camera. Lexi pulled it by the string.
“My initial instinct was to ensure she was OK, but I found myself laughing as I watched the video again. Not only Lexi was funny but Dexter was also aware of it and ran off before it fell.
They are sweet and playful, yet they can be very mischievous. Dexter was able to get out of “bad” but Lexi just started.
They described their dog as mischievous but Dexter was more calm.

This video was uploaded to TikTok from Mia Constantinou, Dervock, County Antrim. It shows the dog getting caught in sticky tape and nipping at the parcel, trying to take the tape.
She said that after wrapping one present, she was unable to wrap another because Toffee her 12-week-old cockapoo interfered with the process.
Mia commented, “It was hilarious how hard it was to complete small things while keeping her busy.” This was very difficult.
