‘You deserve it you b******!’ Moment ‘scooter thief’ asks witness to call him an ambulance after he and his accomplice crash into a parked car

After crashing into a car parked by his scooter, a suspected scooter theft suspect asked for witnesses to call an ambulance saying that he had hurt his finger. 

It was captured on 14/10/2021. The footage shows two young men riding their moped. 

A few young children comment on the theft of the bicycle and then a man with his dog chases them, challenging them to return it. 

One suspect claims the bike is ‘already broke’ and has been left ‘for many years. 

The youths claimed that they did not steal the bike and were trying to escape. Both of them were not wearing helmets.

The Good Samaritan informed the boys that the bicycle couldn’t be abandoned over the years because it had a 21-plate.  

One of the suspects manages to start the £2,500, 125cc Chinese scooter. 

They tried to flee along Hamilton Street, but they were stopped by Cornbrook Street.  

The scooter is picked up by one of the suspects and he rides it off leaving behind his wounded accomplice. 

As he injured his finger, the youth left behind can be seen walking limpily before sitting down on a pavement to ask for assistance. 

The man responds to the appeal for help by telling the suspect: ‘You deserve that, you b******!’
