After hundreds of emails were found that she had sent to Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, about Virginia, an order was placed for her to be kept at 200 feet.

Julia Lee Choi (45), a McLean resident, started tweeting about Cook on Halloween 2020. She sent 18 messages calling Cook her husband and “my bed man”. 

Cook was gay in 2014. 

Only posting for that single day, she called the 61-year old: “My bed man!” My bathroom MAN! My kitchen MAN! My Cleaning Man! My Husband Tim Cook is my MAN! My kids Daddy~!’

Choi, who called herself Julia Lee Cook, took offense at the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, tweeting: ‘You should unfollow my husband Tim Cook as soon as possible.’

Choi on October 31, 2020 opened a Twitter account using this profile photo. She fired off 18 tweets that one day, and the account has been dormant ever since

She also took issue with the CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai.

‘While we reached our final love decision and were in process, Sandra Pichia (CEO of Google) tried to interfere with Cook’s relationship and hurt me numerous times.

“Julia Lee Cook was able to understand the past of my husband and how he has dealt with relationships that were unexpected.

Another time, she said: “My husband. I don’t clean, cook, or just wait for my husband!” My heart is tingling.

Cook was contacted approximately 200 times by her from October through November 2020. She sent him photos and messages, including images of loaded handguns. 

Court documents said the emails demonstrated ‘a significant escalation in tone.’ 

Cook’s lawyer described some of these messages as “threatening and extremely disturbing” but they were also sexual.  

One message reportedly said: “What have you done? Criminal defense. Murder.”

Cook’s attorneys state in the petition for the restraining orders that she sent him an image of a box of ammunition on November 3, 2020. She wrote the next day: “I warned you and said stop trying to kill us. Cook made me buy it instead of buying Christmas presents. You will never be forgiven.

Choi started registering false corporations. 

Cook served as chief executive officer or director for all the fake corporations that were created in California, New York, and Virginia.

Cook received an email from Choi in September 2021 stating that she was applying to be a teacher. [to be] your roommate in palo alto.’

The restraining order states that Cook drove twice from Northern Virginia to Palo alto in two months using a Porsche Macan. In October 2021 she arrived at Cook’s house and informed security officers she wanted to talk to Cook. 

After Palo Alto police reached the scene and arrested her, she continued to remain on the property. She said that she could be violent. 

Choi seemed to have been renting an Airbnb in San Jose during a time.

He emailed her on December 18th, 2021. She said that they didn’t need to meet. Send 500,000,000 cash to me. You will then forget everything and forgive everyone.  

She allegedly sent Cook more emails and tweets about Cook, including one that threatened to set Cook’s house on fire.

As first reported by Mercury News, the request for a temporary restraining order was made Thursday. It was granted Friday. 

Apple thinks that the woman could still be in South Bay, and may even have a weapon. 

This temporary restraining order forbids her from contacting any Apple employee, or Apple-owned building.

According to the document, “Given her erratic and threatening behavior and direct contact with Apple Executive and CEO as well as with Apple Corporate and Security teams,” all Apple employees must be protected by the restraining order. 

On March 29, a hearing will be held.
