The charges against a student at university and her ex-boyfriend are wounding. Her boyfriend had been stabbed in the back three times in an apparent love triangle.
Anam Asaf (18 years old) was released on bail, while Rohan Ahluwalia Panor (18 years old), was placed in custody.
Two defendants were charged separately with malicious wounding in an attempt to cause serious bodily harm to Ayaz, a fellow student from Coventry Crown Court.
Both were arrested shortly after an altercation that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the University of Warwick’s residence block, just outside of Coventry.
Both Mr Kazi, the male defendant and the female defendant attend the same university. It is believed that they spent the evening before the attack together.
Anam Ausaf (pictured) found herself at the centre of a suspected ‘love triangle’ dispute which resulted in a vicious altercation in a Sherbourne residential building on the Warwick University campus
On the next day, Mr Kazi sustained serious injuries in an attack on the campus women’s area. This was believed to be related to the love triangle that existed between them.
Stella Muyambo, the prosecutor of Mr Kazi said that he was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
Asaf and victim were believed to be in a relationship just recently. She had been involved romantically with Pandor, who was not attending university but is still studying A’levels.
The story says that Mr Kazi was three-times stabbed in his stomach, face and arm.
Following numerous 999 calls, the police called in the armed forces.
The knife had a blood stain and was visible from the outside of the room.
Because the cases of both defendants were too serious for magistrates, they will be heard in a Crown Court.
Asaf will be appearing before the crown court in December 17.
Yesterday, The MailOnline reported that the student from North London who was a first year student at the university, had only arrived seven weeks earlier and was then left in tears after a dispute between two men.

Naz Ausaf, a female relative of Anam’s told MailOnline: ‘We are all completely shocked. It’s all just a coincidence.
“There’s a lot of rubbish on social media that is being spread by students. All of them are talking trash. There was a brawl between the two boys. It’s very distressing for us, this is not a joke.’
MailOnline was told by Eyewitnesses that two men were fighting for her attention.
Sherbourne Block student said, “We don’t know all the details.”
“We heard lots of screaming and saw blood all around. There are a lot of rumours flying around the campus about what this was all about.’
A statement from Warwickshire police on Thursday stated: “A man was taken into hospital after an attack in Coventry.
“Police called yesterday at 4.32pm (Wednesday 17th November) in response to reports that an individual had been attacked at Scarman Road.
It’s understood that Asaf and the victim had recently started dating – her having previously been romantically involved with Pandor who is not at the university but still studying for A’levels
Officers responded and located a 19-year old man suffering from stab wounds. His injuries were not considered life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital.
Cawail Wong, Detective Inspector at Warwickshire Police CID stated that this was a serious case in which a young male suffered from stab wounds. It is my request that anyone who has any information regarding it contact the police.
