The Trials of Osiris is the most challenging and most competitive 3v3 PVP activity in Destiny 2, and every serious player has at least heard about it. It starts every Friday and ends with the weekly reset on Tuesday. But, being an unforgiving PVP mode, only a few join it. And even fewer have gone Flawless in Trials of Osiris, which is when you achieve a 7-0 win streak.

Trials is so challenging that even experienced Guardians think twice before signing up. But let’s give you a few reasons to try this event at least once in your life.

3 Reasons to Play Trials of Osiris

Get Even Better at Your Game

Want to get to know more strong Destiny 2 players? Trials of Osiris has earned a reputation for being a PVP mode for elitists. It’s no surprise, given how hard it is to win matches when you’re up against the best of the best. After all, you must have a minimum power level of 1260, a Legend Valor rank, and defeat 50 players in the Elimination playlist to qualify for Trials.

It’s a great place to hone your PVP skills further and build a better character.

Get Exclusive Rewards

Getting rewards is the biggest reason a Trials of Osiris Flawless run is so coveted—you’ll get access to the game’s best, most exclusive items.

Even better, the PVP rewards change weekly, whether it’s Upgrade Modules, Enhancement Prisms, or new weapons and equipment.

And, unlike in the past, Trials Passages no longer track your losses, so you can still get rewards even if you’ve lost several matches. There’s no need to worry about not going Flawless on your first tries. Just win a few matches, and you’ll still get some great stuff out of it.

Want to Glow Fancy? Go Flawless!

Ever notice how some players have glowing Trials gear? That’s a nifty little perk and status symbol when you finally get a Trials of Osiris Flawless run. The glow lasts around two weeks, after which you’ll have to go Flawless again to get it back. But hey, two weeks is still a lot of time to show off that you’re one of the best in the game without actually saying a word.
Trials of Osiris intimidates a lot of players, but it doesn’t hurt to have a go at this notorious PVP mode. You’re missing out on a lot of great gear! And if you want to win, don’t be afraid to ask some friendly neighborhood Sherpas for help making it through the matches.
