Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is a result of a love for wildlife, decades of work in East Africa and a desire to share that passion with others. The awards began in 2015 and have been growing since then.
Paul Joynson Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam have steered the competition’s growth since its inception. It is now an internationally renowned contest that millions see every year.
Open to novice and expert wildlife photographers, the competition celebrates and highlights nature’s absurdities and what can be done to preserve it. Comedy Wildlife captures everything from an otter that is surprised to a turtle who swears, and they bring a smile on everyone’s faces.
