One woman suffered cardiac arrests in eight days while being treated with Covid. She refused the vaccine and now urges others to have the vaccination.
Gemma Roberts (35), had her heart stop multiple times and needed to be revived by Warrington Hospital medical staff eight times.
After contracting coronavirus, she was taken to the hospital on August 11.
The former Eddie Stobart employee told The Mirror that after initially being rushed to hospital, she pleaded with doctors not to let her die and that she rang her partner Sophie to tell her she was being put to sleep.

She said: ‘I wish I had the vaccine before, I think everyone should have it now.
“I was afraid to have the jab. People had died from it, I was told.
“I was willing to take a chance, and it almost cost me my life. Medical professionals saved mine, they are the ones I trust now.
Additionally, she said that her guilt for putting her family through this stress was something she also felt.

Gemma contracted sepsis two times while she was in the hospital. Partner Sophie Holmes, 39 said that this caused a large-scale rash.
Gemma was initially positive for Covid-19 following a lateral flow and PCR tests.
According to her, she believed she was just feeling hungover after a weekend of weddings because she felt tired, sick, and short of breath.
She was informed that she would be taken into hospital to receive oxygen.
Sophie, her partner said she was informed two days after she was admitted that she would be going to bed. This was before she experienced cardiac arrest in August.

Medical staff brought her back, and she continued to suffer for two more days.
After being on a ventilator for 3 weeks, she experienced four heart attacks on August 31.
Another cardiac arrest occurred, and the patient was finally taken off the ventilator in October.
When she finally woke up, however, she found that her arms and legs were immobile.
Since then, she has worked with physio to be able to walk again using a walking aid. Sophie proposed to her.
