A 35-year-old woman is in prison for grooming a 15 year old boy via text messages to have sex with him.

  • Carole Taylor (35), Eastbourne, raised the vulnerable teenage boy.
  • A total of five years in prison has been handed down to the 35-year old.  
  • Taylor was between 32-33 years old when the offences occurred










An adulterous woman was sentenced to five years in prison for sexually manipulating a teenage boy.

Carole Taylor (35), from Eastbourne groomed the teen boy via mobile messages over several weeks, before meeting him twice for sex.

Both the offences occurred in Eastbourne, East Sussex. The teenage boy was well-known to the girl. 

Taylor has now been sentenced to a total of five years imprisonment after being Two counts each of having sexual contact with a minor, meeting with a child after sexual grooming and two counts of sexual activity.

Carole Taylor (pictured), 35 year old from Eastbourne has been sentenced for five years after being convicted in two cases of sexual activity. She was also convicted of meeting with a child as a result of sexual grooming and sexual communication.

The Sussex Police spokeswoman said, “Carole Taylor (of Eastbourne) was sentenced to a total five-year imprisonment at Brighton Crown Court. She had been convicted in December of two counts, one of which is sexual activity with children.

“She will continue to be a registered sexual offender for the rest of her life.”  

The East Sussex Safeguarding Investigations Unit Detective Sergeant Michaela Haddock stated that Taylor was between 32-33 years old when the offences occurred.

“The court was informed that she had been in a relationship with a vulnerable, 15-year old boy. For several weeks, she communicated with him by mobile phones. He then came to her on two separate occasions.

This was a disturbing case where the boy was sexually abused and groomed to perfection by someone who he trusted.

His extraordinary courage in giving evidence is commendable. This was a crucial factor in the unanimous verdict of the jury.

“The sentence is a reflection of Taylor’s irreparable damage to this child’s mental health, but it should allow Taylor to make positive decisions about his future.
