The procedure caused her upper lip to swell and then became huge.

She was alarmed and shared a clip of her showing TikTok’s big lips. It quickly became viral.

Following the operation, her upper lip began to swell and some people said that she looked like Dr. Seuss’ Whoville residents.

Numerous people shared their experiences with lip injections in the comments section.

While some people said that the lip popping was perfectly normal, and others agreed that it is a common occurrence for them as well, others recommended that she immediately see a physician to confirm that there were no allergic reactions.

Apart from offering advice, people made fun of Briana’s appearance by commenting and making jokes. They compared her to Dr. Seuss’s Whoville inhabitants and Marge Simpson’s dinosaur, Land Before Time. 

Briana was not offended by the comments of others who claimed that she looked like a duck.

She was open to the idea that she appeared ‘hilarious’, and felt the need to share this unfortunate experience with the rest of the world.

Is swelling common after receiving lip injections for the lips?

‘I am A-Okay. She explained that this is the first time it has looked normal. “This actually has ever happened to me before.

“I spoke to my doctor, and he confirmed that it wasn’t an allergy and that I was not experiencing any symptoms. My skin just gets really swollen.

“I do appreciate your concern. I’m fine. Although it is still a bit swollen, the majority of my symptoms are gone.

“I thought that I was hilarious, so I thought I would share it with you.” 

Thankfully, in another clip, Briana updated her followers and revealed that her lip had gone back to normal

You may want to keep your head up at night to decrease fluid retention. Avoid sleeping on your face.’
