After watching him struggle, a young Idahoan woman raised more than $40,000 to support an elderly DoorDash driver.
Anabelle Grace Stephens (21), captured Kerry Judd at 71 on her doorbell cam last week.
Video shows him slowly moving up and back to her for the delivery of the food she had ordered.
Touched, Anabelle shared the clip on TikTok and launched a GoFundMe for Kerry in hopes to help him finally retire — and donations have quickly poured in.

While dropping off his food delivery, he slowly walked up and down her front staircases.
Since 2011, he is widowed and has had two children. He works as a DoorDash driver and security guard ‘to make ends met’.
‘Tell me I didn’t just get the cutest door dasher,’ Anabelle wrote on TikTok with a pair of crying emojis.
Kerry, wearing a button down shirt, jeans, and a redcap, slowly walks up her front stairs, with a brown newspaper back in her hands and a glass of water in her hand.
He places them on the ground, and then slowly backs down each step, before he stops.
Anabelle seemed to be struck by Kerry’s young age and jumped to her aid.
She first gave him $30 for a $21 delivery.
She then contacted DoorDash to track him down, and was eventually connected to him.
Annabelle started a GoFundMe campaign to assist Kerry in his efforts to stop food delivery. This GoFundMe raised $40,000
Responding to criticisms, she said that $30 was her tip for him on his original order
“I’m trying to arrange a meeting with Kerry! His son, who is very private, reached out to him and stated that he was working hard on setting up a meeting with Kerry. She wrote that her son has worked almost his entire life, and had been through some hardships.
“I gave my son’s number. I now wait for Kerry to get in touch with me to set up a meeting so we can help this man retire!”
Annabelle launched a GoFundMe for Kerry, which has raised $40,608 in four days.
Kerry’s history also fascinated her. Since 2011, he is widowed and has had two sons. He works as a DoorDash driver and security guard ‘to make ends met’.
“I’ve been going through some health issues which has affected my Dashing skills at times,” he stated. I love to share my DoorDash experiences with others in order for them to make money and succeed in dashing.
He noted that the basic pay for DoorDash is just $2.50 per delivery, and because the app’s fees are so expensive, customers ‘don’t always tip.’
Annabelle has already set up the GoFundMe page to automatically transfer the funds directly to Kerry, and said she ‘can’t begin to describe the amount of support from across the world!’
Even though it means that he may not get paid as much, he still showed empathy.
He said, “Times are hard and they don’t have the ability to go out at times so they order DoorDash.”
Annabelle was kind enough to praise Kerry for being funny and sweet. She also noted that Kerry works hard, despite having two jobs and trying to support his older children.

“This is more than I can imagine and it’s beyond my imagination!” Kerry’s life has been transformed by this, and all of it thanks to you !!!’ TikTok was her platform.
Despite the fact that some viewers found it sweet, others saw it as evidence of the failures in the American economy.
While some people found the story charming, others saw it as evidence that America’s economic system was broken.
One commenter wrote, “Nah because that’s sad that somebody his age must work at all,”
“I wish this man was just doing his job because he wanted to be active and find something to do. One person said, “Old people shouldn’t have to work.”
He should be retired. “This makes me very sad,” added another.
Another voiced his opinion: “This made my heart break, in a very bad way.” This nation has neglected its seniors.
One person stated, “We should do better for the elderly,” and another added, “It breaks my heart.”
