New York City’s rampant crime and drug abuse has continues to spiral with drug addicts shooting up in broad daylight and homeless perverts hassling subway commuters, leaving residents and tourists horrified.

Two women in Manhattan were seen taking up drug use in Union Square. A homeless man, however, was seen using the Prince St metro station in fashionable Soho.

Photographs and videos of the naked couple in Union Square, one with blue hair and the other with dark skin show them injecting their unknown substance beside a Citibike.

The vagrant couple could still be seen from behind the structure by tourists as well as passersby, who were horrified to see them taking the drug with needles in the open.

While the man was intoxicated, he made a strange gesture at those who were walking along the steps of the subway, and touched their bodies inappropriately. Even though innocent passers-by saw what he was doing, he refused to leave the spot.

Witnesses claim that the two were using the syringe to shoot up for almost 30 minutes and nobody tried to question or attempt to inform law enforcement.

The shocking scenes were despite Eric Adam, NYC mayor, promising to take action against homelessness and criminality in NYC. Crime is on the rise by nearly 40% over last year.

The latest rise in crime and violence on New York’s streets and subways has made many people weary. There have also been widespread looting in some neighborhoods.

The city has seen an increase in vagrancy. Adams ordered wave upon wave of officers to remove homeless encampments from the city’s streets since March.

As drug dealers and addicts continue to take advantage of the streets, parts of the city could have turned into ’24 hour drug and sex dens.

In Manhattan’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood, children have allegedly become exposed to nudity, sex acts and drug use while business owners deal with constant break-ins.

Many said that they have been begging police officers and city officials to help them.

In May, video and photos of men lying in Park Avenue between the 115th E Street to 116 E Street at East Harlem’s popular market showed them using their needles casually to inject drugs.

These men were seen sitting under the train, surrounded by their bags and Citi bikes. Later photos showed even more of them shooting drugs at the spot.

Police did nothing about the odd man sitting on the subway steps, despite being in New York's busy SoHo area

Even though he was located in New York City’s SoHo, police did not take any action regarding the strange man who sat on the subway steps.

This is just one day following an attack on Midtown Manhattan by a mob that slapped a stranger in his stomach.

An unknown assailant attacked the victim, 34 years old, from behind while he was walking on 135 West 36 St. New York. The attack left them with a severe abdominal injury.

A woman who was leaving IHOP’s Gramercy location to work as a waitress, was brutally murdered by her father.

Imani Armstrong was found on the street corner next to Union Square and shot.

Clarkson Wilson (44), was taken into custody for this heinous crime. Clarkson Wilson, 44, was arrested for the heinous crime. He is also facing murder and two charges of criminal possession.

New York City’s most prolific criminal with 167 arrests, was in court on August after he was caught taking 48 items, worth $450, from an Upper East Side Rite Aid.

DailyMail.com’s cameras captured Jamel Pringle being denied bail at Manhattan Supreme Court. The incident occurred despite New York’s new bail reform law.

Pringle was previously mocked by police for having accumulated ‘frequent flyer miles’ due to controversial laws that offered only bail for serious crimes.

Pringle was convicted of one felony and 88 misdemeanors. He also received 39 citations due to his failure to appear before the court. New York City is home to 101 of the next most dangerous criminals.

Pringle was charged with taking more than $430 in merchandise from a Rite Aid near East 96th Street, New York City. Pringle was detained on Monday morning.

The NYPD reports that a single suspect orchestrated a series of West Village and SoHo garment robberies. From July 3, to July 23, all of these robberies took place, often during closing hours. These stores are: Loro Piana, Christian Louboutin, A.P.C., Scotch  Soda, Rag & Bone, Meermin Shoes and Bonobos

In recent months, thieves have been rampant in SoHo and West Village shops. One example is when seven gang members were seen leaving Lululemon carrying $30,000 worth gear.

The guard glanced casually as the two entered the store at 14th Street and 9th Avenue, where they retrieved piles of clothes and empty laundry bags.

They robbed the West Village’s posh neighborhood and fled the shop with all their treasures. The security guard didn’t catch them.

Surveillance footage from the store showed that the thieves entered and exited the shop around noon. The looting included thousands of dollars in merchandise, as well as the theft of thousands more. While the guard stood unaffected in his white shirt and tie, the apparently unsophisticated security officer watched.

However, violence in NYC is on the rise.

The crime-ridden metropolis is home to a bizarre ‘knockout” game that sees criminals punching strangers.

Nearly 20 violent, apparently unmotivated knockout games incidents were reported to NYPD this year. This includes a Bronx victim who nearly died from being kicked to the ground in front of a restaurant.

A 36 year old man was also filmed getting knocked out by being whipped in the head at Brooklyn’s mall. Another knockout victim is a woman aged 74 who was shoved to the ground on Midtown Manhattan’s sidewalk earlier this month.

Bui Van Phu, who was convicted of sex offences and is a member of the gang reputedly ‘Born To Kill,’ was captured on video in a roundhouse wallop at a Bronx eatery.

Black and white surveillance video footage of Jesus Cortes, 52 years old, standing just before 11 p.m. outside Fuego Tipico Restaurant at East 188 Street shows him congregating alongside his family.

Phu is shown on video running behind Cortes, slugging him in his side.

Cortes didn’t see the punch coming and fell to the ground, fractured his skull. To reduce swelling, Cortes was put into a coma by doctors. After several weeks of trying to remove the respirator, it finally worked.

The vicious fights in South Brooklyn continued when, on August 20, a man aged 36 was shopping at Kings Plaza Mall and was beaten by an apparent stranger.

A video shows a man waiting in line at the ATM around 6:45 p.m., when an attacker comes from behind and plants his front foot on the victim’s right cheek.
