24-year-old man is accused of murdering Bobbi Anne McLeod, 18, who disappeared from a bus station on the way to her boyfriend










Bobbi Anne McLeod vanished on Saturday from Plymouth, where she was on her way to see her boyfriend.  

On Tuesday, her body was found close to Bovisand beach. This is seven miles away from the last time she was seen.

Devon and Cornwall Police have announced that Cody Ackland has been arrested for Ms McLeod’s death.

He will be appearing at the Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that they have been notified of the situation and are supporting the family.

On Thursday, the police stated that Ms McLeod had no known connection to the suspect.

Nikki Leaper, Assistant Chief Constable, stated that investigators are not looking for anyone else in relation to the murder.

McLeod, who was about to leave her Leigham house at six o’clock in the afternoon, was last seen waiting for a bus at a stop nearby her house on her way into town.

Near the place she was last seen hundreds of people joined together to celebrate her life and hold a candlelit memorial.

Residents have been laying a flower bank with candles and flowers in the area for several days.

Donna McLeod (the victim’s mom) was quite distressed at the vigil, but she was able and able to express her gratitude for the love and support received by her family over the past days.

She expressed her gratitude for all she did to help find the baby and get it home.
