Jess Hunt, Instagram model, has seen her bizarre ‘Photoshop saga pay off.

The British influencer, who boasts more than one million followers, went viral this week after fans accused her of superimposing herself in front of the Eiffel Tower.

However, the controversy was a blessing in disguise as her debut fashion line with UK retailer EGO has been selling like hotcakes.

Jess launched her EGO collection last week. The range was quickly sold out due to the headlines surrounding her Paris ‘Photoshop’scandal.

She is now rushing to replenish the stock as demand continues to soar.

It comes after Jess was forced to deny allegations she had Photoshopped herself onto the Pont d’Iéna, the bridge that leads to Eiffel Tower in Paris.

When contacted for comment by Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday, she stood her ground and insisted the post was genuine.

She said that the photos were not Photoshopped. She was there in person. “I even have a video of myself in front the Eiffel Tower on my Instagram account.”

Jess, who uploaded her video on Monday, appeared to be strutting down the busy road while the Eiffel Tower twinkled behind.

However, sleuths with keen eyes soon saw several clues that suggested that she had actually superimposed her body in front.

One follower wrote that “She’s literally got nothing to hide,” while another added, “Her feet are floating.”

Others noticed Jess’s body looked unnaturally smooth in the footage. Her feet appeared out of proportion to the lines along the road.

Ironically, Jess made headlines once after she complained about being caught up in a catfishing’ scandal.

In 2017, Jess posted to Twitter that she had found a glamorous photo of herself in a green dress and that it had been altered to show another person’s face.

Reposing the image, Jess wrote: ‘OH MY GOD, that is my body and my house but who’s face is that? This catfish game is getting ridiculous.

Fancy that! Ironically, Jess once made headlines after she complained about being embroiled in a 'catfishing' scandal. Posting to Twitter in 2017, Jess revealed she'd found a glamorous image of herself modelling a green dress had been altered to show someone else's face

That’s what I like! Ironically, Jess was once in the news for complaining about being caught up in a scandal involving ‘catfishing. In 2017, Jess posted to Twitter that she had found a glamorous photo of herself in a green dress. It was altered to show another’s face.

Despite being horrified by the theft of her image, she was still able to admire the seamless Photoshopping that she did at work.

Catfishing is the act of stealing an entire image in order to attract online dates. This is often done to appear more attractive than the person you are trying to date.

Jessica’s body was the only one that was used in this instance. In a video posted to Instagram, the model had posed in the sparkly-green frock five weeks before. She was seen walking up and down in her kitchen.
