Embattled  Joe Rogan claimed in his most recent podcast that he is a ‘victim,’ and called a video compilation of him using the ‘N-word’ a ‘political hit job.’

Rogan, age 54, is under pressure after being criticised by artist India.Arie posted a video compilation of all the times he used the ‘N-word’ on The Joe Rogan Experience with the hashtag #DeleteSpotify.

Podcaster on Tuesday said that release of viral video was “in many ways, a relief since that video it’s been always out there.”

He stated, “It seems like this is an election hit job.” “And so they take all the stuff I said and make it wrong and then mash it together.

‘But it’s good,’ Rogan continued, ’cause it lets me address some s*** that I really wish wasn’t out there.’

The episode ended with Akaash Singh as the comedian praising Rogan for taking the time to apologize for the racist slur.

“You don’t know why I am proud to be a man like you?” Singh asked rhetorically. “Because comedians for many years have done an immature thing, where it seems like they don’t need to apologize.” It doesn’t matter what we say.

‘You can apologize if you say some wild s*** and we’ve all said some wild s*** and you apologized and you owned that it was wrong. Bravo!

Rogan said that stars should be sorry if they regret doing something.

He said, “But I do believe you must be very careful not to excuse for nonsense,” before speaking about comedian Awkwafina’s defense of her speech patterns after being accused by a colleague of making a joke.

“I think that you only have to be who you are.” Rogan stated that he does. Rogan said, “And all that nonsense worrying about where your base is” is insane.

It’s like asking “Who are YOU?” Your identity is you. If you start thinking I have to be who these other people want me to be because they’re the ones that make me popular, you’re f*****.

“In the world of acting it is so difficult to feel free, because you are always worrying about what your next job will be.

‘If you get canceled, you’re f***** because if there’s anything that’s remotely controversial about you, they’ll go with someone else if they’re casting a major film because they don’t want any ifs, ands or buts.’

Rogan has previously apologized for his use of the racial slur in a video posted to his Instagram

Rogan previously apologized to Rogan for using the racial slur “Racial Slur” in an Instagram video.

Rogan previously expressed regret for using the racial insult. He said in an Instagram video that he said certain things that he regretted saying or would have said otherwise.

He said that the slurs were the ‘most regretful and shameful thing’ he has ever had to address and that he hasn´t used the N-word in years.

Rogan said that his 12-year-long use of the “N word” over 12 years, as highlighted in the compilation, was ‘horrible’, even for him.

He stated at that time that he believed people would comprehend his actions if the word was used in the context.

He said, “I have never used it as a racist term, since I am not racist.”

“I can’t take it back. It’s impossible to imagine. That’s obviously not possible. Rogan stated that he was not trying to offend anyone with racism and that he would never entertain them by being racist.

In a Sunday message, Daniel Ek from Spotify also stated that Rogan’s use of racist language was “incredibly hurtful” and was responsible for the removal of many episodes.

Ek stated in the note that while Joe’s comments are deeply condemned and he has decided to delete past episodes of our platform, he also acknowledged that some people will still want more. “And let me be very clear: I don’t believe silencing Joe will solve the problem.

The wrestler-turned-actor later apologized for his support of Rogan, his longtime friend, after the video of him using the ‘N-word’ spread.

‘I wasn’t aware of his N words use before I made my comments. However, now I know his whole story. Johnson posted a tweet Friday regarding the learning moment that came after Don Winslow (author and activist) called out Johnson for supporting Rogan.

Ek stated in the note that while Joe’s comments are deeply condemned and he has decided to delete past episodes of our platform, he also acknowledged that some people will still want more. “And let me be very clear: I don’t believe silencing Joe will solve the problem.

“We need to have clear boundaries around content, and we should take actions when they are broken. But cancelling voices is dangerous. Looking at the issue more broadly, it´s critical thinking and open debate that powers real and necessary progress,’ Ek wrote.

Ek wrote that he would invest $100 million in music and audio content from historically excluded groups to market, develop and license it. He did not give any details.
