This is the moment a speeding car crashed into a woman and her two children as they were crossing a road in Ruislip, West London.
CTTV footage captures the family crossing before a car rushes past, hitting them suddenly and then crashing into their driveway.
The car seems to be steering to the left, hitting the three-person family in the path.
The speeding car hits a mother with her children as she crosses the street.
Metropolitan Police spokesmen said that the driver had been taken into custody and that he was already arrested on the scene.
The police were also informed that they received reports from three pedestrians about a car being involved in an accident with a vehicle shortly before 8:30 am on Monday 13/12/12.
‘Officers attended. Two boys and a woman in their 30s were injured. One of the two boys and the woman were both taken to hospital.

“Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
“The car’s driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving offenses.
“He was taken into custody, and released as a result of an investigation.
There were two ambulance teams on scene, as well as a doctor in a vehicle and an air ambulance.
London Ambulance Service spokesperson stated that the service treated two children, a mother and her child on the scene. They were then taken to a major trauma center.
