TVLine estimates that concert- and interview viewers averaged 9.6million. The number could rise even more if additional figures come in today.
Comparatively, NBC’s Sunday Night Football telecast had 13.5 million viewers, while ABC’s Celebrity Wheel of Fortune was at 3.4 million.

James Corden’s One Night Only interview of Adele with Winfrey (67) was recorded by Ben Winston’s Fulwell73 company, which was also responsible the Friends reunion special.
Critical reaction was mixed. There were some negative reviews about Winfrey’s performance, and others complaining about Winfrey interview.
According to reports in The Mirror, the CBS show could generate more than $100million (over £74million) with Corden’s firm expected to take a cut.
A CBS insider claims that the CBS had paid at least $7 million to air the interview.

Adele, during a chat with Winfrey admitted that Simon Konecki was her “savior” because he offered her’stability after she had been on a self-destructive course.
After just over one year of marriage, the singer, now 33, split with the charity mogul in 2019. She admitted she might have been ‘lost” as a young girl in the music business, but said that Simon and Angelo (9 years old) were “angels sent to me”.
Adele, speaking during her CBS special revealed that she decided to divorce Simon after a quiz by a magazine. It helped her see she wasn’t just “plodding along” in her marriage.
Oprah Winfrey told her that Simon saved her life. Angelo and Simon were able to provide me with the stability I needed.

“He arrived and was very stable. He was the most stable person in my entire life. He is still my rock and I can trust him with everything.
