Adele opened up about her divorce and the exact moment she knew she was not happy in her marriage during an interview with Oprah as part of the two-hour CBS special ‘Adele One Night Only.’
The 15th Grammy winner told Oprah how she felt embarrassed when she knew her divorce from entrepreneur Simon Konecki was inevitable, but added that Konecki was the most stable person she had known and he had ‘saved her life.’
‘I take my marriage very seriously. It seems that it doesn’t seem like it to me… That’s how it should be. We stay together when we have children, which I did. “I was so disappointed for my child, and I was so disappointed myself,” she stated.
“Nothing can be as terrifying as the things I have experienced in these past two years behind closed door doors,” she said.
She claimed that she was shooting for a “boogie magazine” when she felt the urge to speak out what she’d been feeling for some time.
“It was just what I said. “I am not really happy.” Adele told a friend that she is not happy.

Oprah had touched upon Adele’s relationship with alcohol and the singer responded that the death of her father has made a significant impact on her personal life.
Adele claimed that the hardest thing was explaining Angelo about her divorce.
“The hardest thing about explaining to six-year old that I love him is the trying to tell them,” she said. [Konecki]He is not my love.
She admitted that she spends lots of time with her ex husband, 33 years old. He is an integral part of her daily life. Fans have also noticed many of the changes she has made in her personal life, which she shared with us.
Oprah mentioned Adele’s relationship with alcohol after Oprah said that the death of her father had had an impact on Adele’s lifestyle.
‘It [ Alcohol]Adele explained that her father had taken my dad. I quit drinking after realizing that I was responsible for a lot of my own work, and I began working out regularly.

The special also showed Adele singing her heartfelt lyrics to a famous audience, with celebrities such as Gordon Ramsey, Melissa McCarthy, Gabrielle Union in attendance at the performance in the Los Angeles Griffith Observatory.
