“I want to thank you for your support and kindness. It’s hard to see beyond tears. You’re close to getting there, my love. I swear that you will never leave me. When this is over, I’ll spend my entire life trying to pay back what you did for me. It is impossible to imagine how much I love and cherish you.

A number of Adele fans comment on the post. Very inspirational and brave.

Adele underwent surgery in October last year to remove a portion of her bowel and began chemotherapy.

The video came after Adele revealed that her stoma bag has ’empowered’ her and that she doesn’t let her colostomy surgery hold her back.

October 2021Adele told her fans she has ‘turned the corner’ since having surgery to remove a tumor following a diagnosis of bowel cancer.

Adele shared a photograph from her hospital bed for the first-time and told her worried followers, “Just a quick note of thanks to everybody.” It’s been an amazing experience! You were so kind and sent good wishes to my family.

November 2021 Adele paid tribute to the NHS as she returned to her Radio 1 Breakfast show on Saturday following her bowel cancer surgery. According to Adele, the NHS is a ‘vital part of her’.

December 2021 After starting chemotherapy, Adele detailed the treatment’s early side-effects which so far included a metallic taste, swollen fingers and sore teeth.

Star added, “I intend to continue my daily life as usual and see what the body can do.”

January 20, 2222 The star spoke out about her ‘shock’ cancer diagnosis and detailed the effects of her surgery to remove the tumour during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

She spoke to Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard and said that it was quite shocking. My ignorance about cancer was something I did not know. I now know that it is possible for anyone to get it. I’m vegetarian. I’m healthy. I exercise.’

April 20, 2222 Adele said that her Stoma Bag has empowered her, and she won’t allow her colostomy to hold her back.

Lorraine: “It’s saved my life. A stoma allows me to heal my colon from the surgery. It is so wonderful.

Although the surgery is not likely to be reversed in time, she explained that it felt ’empowering’ for her to openly discuss her stoma.

Health: Adele has been candid about her health battle, with Kate taking to TikTok to share a montage of clips of Adele going through chemotherapy

Health: Adele is open about her battle with cancer. Kate took to TikTok and shared a series of clips showing Adele going through the treatment.

“I am on chemotherapy right now and enjoying every moment of my life.

“I noticed mucus first when I went to the bathroom. Then it became blood. Kate was the first to notice it.

“I had never thought of cancer.” I was thinking it could have been IBS. However, it became increasingly frequent and Kate advised me to contact the doctor.

Adele was able to have a bowel surgery in order to remove the cancerous bowel last year.

The colostomy is a procedure that diverts the colon (part) from the stomach through an opening in the tummy. To collect your stool (poo), a pouch is placed above the stoma.

It saved my life, she added. It allowed my colon to heal after the surgery, which I am so thankful for.

BOWEL CAUSER: THE SIGNIFICANCES OF BOWEL CRIMER. WHICH DIES FROM POLYPS IN RECTUM AND COLON.

Colorectal cancer, also known as bowel or colon cancer, affects the large intestinal tract, made up of the colon, rectum, and stomach.

Pre-cancerous growths called polyps can often lead to such tumours.

These are the symptoms:

  • Bleeding from below
  • Stools with blood
  • Changes to your bowel habits for at least three consecutive weeks
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Extreme, unexplained tiredness
  • Abdominal pain

While most cases don’t have any clear causes, there are some people who may be more vulnerable if they do:

  • Do you have more than 50?
  • A family history is required
  • A personal history of having polyps found in their bowels
  • Crohn’s disease and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s are common.
  • Living a unhealthy lifestyle

Most treatments involve surgery as well as chemo- or radiotherapy.

Nearly nine in ten patients with Stage One bowel Cancer survive for at least five years.

It is more common in the later stages.

Bowel Cancer UK estimates that there are more than 41.200 cases of bowel cancer in Britain each year.

The National Cancer Institute estimates that it is estimated to affect around 40% of the US’s 100,000 adult population each year.

Although the surgery is not likely to be reversed in time, she explained that it felt ’empowering’ for her to openly discuss her stoma.

Adele who loves to work out continued, “I really believe that my new lifestyle choices helped me quickly recover from surgery and manage chemotherapy.”

Adele displayed her stoma bags as she went to the gym with her first post-surgery visit.

Radio 1’s DJ looked amazing as she posted Instagram pictures showing her midriff, wearing a grey sports bra and matching leggings.

In mirror selfies, she proudly showed off her stoma bag that she had named Audrey.

Inspiring: Earlier this month, Adele showed off her stoma bag as she went to the gym. She penned alongside the post: 'Today’s FU to cancer… first time in the gym since my surgery'

Adele was inspiring: As she went to the gym earlier in the month, Adele showed her stoma bags. She penned alongside the post: ‘Today’s FU to cancer… first time in the gym since my surgery’

She penned alongside the post: ‘Today’s FU to cancer… first time in the gym since my surgery.

“First time I have done strength training in many years. Especially for runners… so decided to go for it…

‘SO sorry if we were dicking about taking selfies instead of actually doing gym stuff… but to be fair we need a personal trainer because we don’t know wtf we’re doing.’

She said, “Really proud that we went though. Kate doesn’t like the gym, and she hasn’t been with me to the stoma in ages.

“I was scared I might get hernia. But I feel that I have escaped unharmed.”
