Adele’s last album was six years ago. Her new album, 30, has been well-received by critics.
The fourth album by the singer, which was inspired by her split from Simon Konecki, received positive reviews on Friday.
The record scored 89 on Metacritic. This indicates that it received universal acclaim from reviewers.

Rob Sheffield of Rolling Stone declared Adele’s greatest album 30 and stated that Adele has never sounded ferocious.
It was written by him: “You would not believe it was possible but her vocals are even more expressive.
‘Adele’s voice is a tank division that can tap-dance—the more mature she gets as an artist, the more finesse and tact she brings to the microphone, without sacrificing any of the primal firepower that made her famous in the first place.
‘It’s all there in the single Easy On Me where she pauses mid-song to linger on the first note of ‘easy’ so long you feel like you might pass out, even though you can tell she isn’t breaking a sweat.’

The Independent gave it four stars, praised its songs and said that Adele’s voice was what sells them.
Annabel Nugent reviewed the book and said that it was epic, without being too melismatic. You can see the fun in it’s ability to yawn into unimaginable shapes, and make intonation more enjoyable.
“But, there are great singers out there that don’t attract this mass adoration.” Adele has something special that is beyond preternatural vocal chords that makes her so likable.
In a slightly more lukewarm review, The Guardian gave the record three stars and said the topic of divorce is ‘all-consuming’ and some listeners may wish she would give them a break from the ‘woe’.
They were however impressed with the album, which is a departure from her other albums.

Alexis Petridis, a reviewer wrote that despite their high sales numbers, Adele was reluctant to experiment with formulas that were clearly not working. She does and it is one of the highlights for her 30th birthday.
NME agreed that 30 is a change for the singer, saying the songs Easy On Me, To Be Loved and Hold On are the only ones that feel like ‘classic Adele’.
El Hunt wrote: “Despite its many experimental moments, 30, still feels like signature Adele in its own right most of the times.”
‘And after fair accusations of playing it safe musically in the past, it’s refreshing to see the pop titan treading braver territory – even if the hit-rate isn’t 100 per cent.
Neil McCormick gave the song five-star reviews in The Daily Telegraph. It was praised for bringing out a sense of life-affirming liberty despite its main theme, divorce.

According to the publication, her voice has reached its limits on To Be Loved’s seven-minute-long segment in which she shares some of her most profound worries.
They also said the album has a lot of positivity to offer listeners, writing: ‘There is plenty of spirited positivity amid the self-pity and self-flagellation, allied to melodies that will have Karaoke nights booming, delivered with Adele’s customary gusto and lit up by her sheer joy when singing.
“The truth is that Adele sounds as if she had fun recording the album. This can be seen in her loose-roaming vocals and her tightly-arranged backing vocals.
After it was revealed that Adele would be releasing an album with heartbreaking vocal notes, the reviews were written.
The emotional song, My Little Love features audio recordings of conversations between the singer and her nine-year old daughter. He attempts to stop her from crying during her 2019 divorce.

Adele, who features her son in her new album and dedicates the music to him on the record, revealed that Angelo saw her for the first time at the One Night Only CBS special concert.
To film the show, The Someone Like You star took to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles in October.
On stage, she exclaimed: “This is my first ever performance!
With a smile, she said: “It’s absolutely an honour to have your here tonight baby,”
Adele reflected on her heartwarming Twitter moment and said that she had never been more nervous for her son’s first live viewing.

Angelo explained to the star that Angelo was a previous attendee of rehearsals when she was alone in the arena. She also compared their experience to Taylor Swift’s packed concert.

Adele shared her thoughts with the chat-show host her expectations for her son’s life. She said she wanted him to be a happy, good-natured person.
“I don’t expect him to do anything,” she said. “I don’t really care about his career, as long he loves what he does and is content with it.
Adele shared that she had to adapt to the life of a single parent, as well as her divorce, in an interview.
