Alan Carr was looking downcast after he ventured out for his first time since declaring his separation from Paul Drayton.
After visiting a coffee shop, the comedian was 45 and still had his wedding band on him as he set off for Southend.
Alan was a chat show host and wore a bright red jacket with faux fur trim.

He wore a bobble head to protect himself against the cold January temperatures and headed out onto the Pier for a stunning sea view.
The divorce of funnyman Alan and his partner in party planning, Mr. 50, was announced on Friday.

According to a spokesperson, the statement read: “After thirteen years as a married couple and three years of marriage Alan Carr and Paul Drayton wish to inform you that they have decided to end their relationship.”
“They made the hard decision together and have reached an amicable agreement to divorcing and separate. At this time, we ask that they respect their privacy.
Paul posted an Instagram message saying that he was currently in rehabilitation for alcoholism after a “challenging few years” which included a plea bargain last November regarding a drink driving charge.
After a cup of coffee, the comedian took his own company with him.

He said he’d ‘proactively’ checked into rehab before the start of the year in order to get help with his ongoing fight against the disease.
He wrote, “It’s with great sadness that Alan and my marriage have been ended,” under a sunset photograph with a heart drawn above.
“This was a difficult decision for both of us, and as we separate we will leave behind great memories and continued friendship.
