Aldi apologized to the customer who asked for his car to be moved by staff after Aldi repeatedly requested that he do so.
The supermarket giant, located on St John’s Street, Bridlington, Yorkshire, opened on November 18, but a recent video has gone viral after a man kept his cool when he was approached about a silver car parked outside.
Lauren Toft, bystander, captured the footage on November 19. The man was seen outside the front door accompanied by staff who asked him repeatedly to move it, even though he assured her that it wasn’t theirs.

Eyewitnesses claim that he was pestered for more than 15 minutes in order to get the car moving.
One part of this conversation was captured on video by another shopper. As the confused man tried to explain that the car did not belong to him, he had no idea where it came from.
This video has been viewed over 5,000 times on social media.
As the man confirms that the silver vehicle the woman requested is not his, he acts disbelievingly.
The man can be heard laughing as he asks the staff member who owns the silver car.
The video ends with him moving his car after being told by a member of staff.
Aldi spokesperson apologized for the miscommunication and stated that she would apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Video comments were overwhelming supportive of customer after he was harangued regarding the wrong vehicle.
‘That guy is a legend did so well , saw the funny side , deserves £100 Aldi voucher for the stupid staff rant,’ said one.
One other said, “Wow, he did well to bless him. That would not be my reaction.”
One user on social media said that he blessed him well, and it would have been a different reaction to mine.
He didn’t need it. Even though she realized that the vehicle wasn’t hers, she insists that he transport the vehicle.

Lauren Toft, the person who shot the video, said the employee did not apologize for the incident and that he kept asking her to move the car.
On Thursday, the Aldi Bridlington shop in St John’s Street was opened, the same day as the incident with the car park.
