Alec stated to photographers that he was ‘ordered’ not to speak about the investigation by Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office, but that he is ‘eagerly waiting for the sheriff’s office to release his findings.

The actor, who was visibly anxious during his exchanges with reporters, then asked: What other questions do your have other than that?

After the death of the 42 year-old filmmaker, he claimed that he still talks to police every day.

Hilaria then enters the frame, stands beside her husband, and appears to be filming the assembled reporters and photographers with her phone.

The reporter then asks Alec about his meeting with the family of the deceased cinematographer. But he forgets his name and misunderstands the question. Hilaria and Alec are both annoyed.

Hilaria informs the reporter that her name is Halyna.

Hilaria informs the reporter that if you spend so much time waiting, you should know her first name.

Alec appears to be growing annoyed at the reporter, asking in amazement: “You don’t even know her name?” You’re being too kind. Halyna Hutchins.

Alec said, “I met her husband Matthew, and her son.” That’s correct.

Alec answered when Alec was asked how the meeting went: “I don’t know how I would describe it.”

Alec then stated that they were mortified’, but Hilaria interjects before he can finish his sentence.

Baldwin claimed Hutchins’s death was ‘one of a trillion’, before claiming that ‘probably billions’ of gunshots have been fired ‘without incident’ on American film sets without an ‘incident.

Alec responded, “I can’t answer that?” It’s not something I can understand.

“I do know that there is an ongoing effort by the government to reduce firearm use on film sets. That’s something I’m very interested in.

But, I think you should remember something important: How many bullets have been used in TV and film shows? [that have been made]In the last 75 years?

“This is America. How many bullets have been fired in movies and on TV before? Billions.

It’s important to recognize when things go wrong. If it is, it’s this terrible, catastrophic thing. We need to take new measures – proper guns or plastic guns, but no real, live guns. [rounds].

“But that’s not for you to decide.”

‘It’s important that you understand this field – I’m no expert. I will support whatever other people decide to do in terms of protecting people’s safety while filming – I will be there.

Alec curtly replied when asked if he had any other film projects in the pipeline.

Alec then informs reporters that he doubts that Rust will resume production.

Hilaria interjects again when Hilaria is asked why he and his family decided to move to Vermont.

Alec then moves his hand toward his wife’s right side, signaling to her that he is going to be the one speaking.

He tells reporters: “That’s personal. That’s private.

Alec asks, “Anything else?” Alec asks the journalists assembled.

Alec pleads with reporters for privacy when they don’t have any other questions.

“My kids are crying in the car,” said the 30 Rock star. Hilaria responded, adding: “Because they know you guys are following them.”

Hutchins died October 21 after Baldwin pointed a gun at her during a scene, and it injured director Joel Souza in his shoulder.

Colt pistol was the gun that caused the death of the filmmaker. Alec Baldwin was handling the vintage gun on the set of Rust in Santa Fe, New Mexico, when it accidentally discharged – killing the mom-of-one and wounding director Joel Souza.

DailyMail.com obtained a call sheet indicating that Baldwin was participating in a mock gunfight at the Bonanza Ranch church when Hutchins was killed.

Co-stars Jensen Ackles, Swen Temmel and Travis Hammer were also in the scene – numbered 121 – alongside Baldwin’s stunt double Blake Teixeira and stunt coordinator Allan Graf.

Production notes indicate that the Colt pistol was among several weapons on the set at the time, but it was the only one used in 121 as well as the preceding 118.

The armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, 24, said ‘wasn’t sure if I was ready’ in an interview prior to filming.

In the podcast interview, she also revealed that loading blanks into a gun was something she found to be the most frightening thing. She did not know how to do this and had sought out help from Thell Reed (legendary gunsmith) to get over her fear.

First assistant director Dave Halls had seized the gun from its cart and brought the gun inside to Baldwin, not realizing that it was loaded up with live rounds.

“Cold gun!” Halls shouted “Cold gun!” Before handing the gun to Baldwin. This phrase was used to signal the crew and cast that the gun was safe to be fired for the scene, according the warrant.

Baldwin’s crew were already concerned about gun safety, even before he accidentally shot Hutchins.

The warrant indicated that a single bullet struck Hutchins in the chest, and then struck director Joel Souza in the shoulder as he was standing behind her, injuring him, suggesting the bullet traveled all the way through Hutchins’ body.

Hours before the fatal shooting, unionized workers had walked out of the set after complaining about long hours, poor conditions, and another safety incident involving ‘two misfires’ of a prop gun.

Baldwin told the photographer that he did not believe production would restart.
