Alice Evans says daughter, 8, ‘inconsolable’ over father Ioan Gruffudd’s new romance

Alice Evans, the mother of her young daughter, has spoken out about her grief at Ioan’s new romance. This is after Ioan promised her last week that they wouldn’t be having a girl.

On Thursday, the actress, 50, launched into a new tirade, in which she revealed Elsie had had to stay off school, as she claimed: “Her whole little world has fallen.”

Alice stated that Ioan has yet to tell their children, Elsie, 8, and Ella (12) about their divorce. They are under the impression that Ioan may return home.

She posted on Twitter: “He hasn’t even told them about divorce yet. They believe he might be back. All his clothes are still in the same place he left them one year ago. Toothbrush, creams and everything.

When quizzed on whether he has ‘regular contact’with his daughters now he is no longer living in the family home, she said: ‘No. Elsie calls him twice a week for 2 minutes and talks about the beauty of his hotel.

Never take more than 2 minutes. Never on weekends. Doesn’t ask questions. Rejected my offer of photos. 

The 50-year-old actress launched into a new tirade on Thursday. She claimed Elsie has had no choice but to stay at school and that ‘her whole little world has fallen’

New love: Alice claimed Ioan promised last week that he wouldn’t have a new partner.

Alice thanked her followers and revealed that Ioan had hoped for a good relationship with their kids.

She stated that she wanted them to have a good relationship with him. I have kept the truly awful things he did me secret.

She also responded, saying: You’re right. He repeatedly told me over the years that “fatties” were too much for him and that he would leave if I gained weight.

A tweet that said: “Some words of caution to new side chick @BiancaWarren… don’t gain an ounce.

@IoanGruffud loves his women skinny and anorexic. Time to go and get the cigarettes. Alice posted a row emojis of a row of laughing faces.

She also responded, saying: You’re right. He repeatedly told me over the years that “fatties” were too much for him and that he would leave me if I gained weight.

“I suppose he was faithful to his word this year!” 

 

On Wednesday, Alice  was seen with supportive friends waving her wedding-ring free hand shortly before she continued her Twitter tirade, which was laden with shocking claims about the couple.

After Ioan, 48, had shared a picture of Bianca, 29 with a lover, she launched her furious attack against the couple. She also accused Bianca, a Liar actor, of having been in sex for three years and claimed she was ‘friends” with Bianca before the affair.

As her online pals and critics flooded social media with response to her diatribe – with both positive and negative comments – Alice spent hours responding to the messages with explosive claims and bold comments, including allegations that Ioan promised their daughters Ella he would stay single. 

Following her tangent, she took to Twitter to insist that she had ‘helped herself’ by venting on a public platform, despite claims she was embarrassing her self. She then promised to’stay away’.

Alice lamented losing her “pre-pandemic thinness” last month in her usual online candour. She shared a snap of herself with a slim throwback and wrote: ‘Oh pre-pandemic skinnynness, where are you?’.

A fan wrote, “Oy I can relate” and she replied, “Yes!” It’s only when your phone throws you a ‘MEMORY’ that you did t ask for. And you’re like wait that was ME???’

After her meeting, Alice took to Twitter to repeatedly likened her agony to her grief after losing her Mum, Dad, step-sister and best friend, accused Ioan of cruelty in branding her a ‘bullying manipulator’ and defended airing her dirty laundry online – as she insisted those who took issue with her behaviour should ‘just scroll past’.

Alarming: She launched her furious attack on the couple moments after both Ioan, 48, and Bianca, 29, shared a loved-up image on their respective social media accounts – as she accused the Liar actor of engaging in the romance for three years, while also claiming she was ‘friends’ with Bianca prior to the affair

Alice lost her mother September 1999. Her 15-year-old stepsister committed suicide in February 2012. 

She wrote the following in her latest post: “Ok guys, thank-you so much for allowing us to talk and work out all this with you.” Ioan and I have been together for 22 years. We never missed a single day of each other. What I discovered today was shocking. Twitter has allowed my to get a feel for 1/2… 

“Wrong” and “What is right.” Although I know that many of you felt embarrassed by my public disclosures, I want you to see how much it helped me. I will try to avoid this from now on. (Unless I’m confronted with something worse.”. 

After Ioan’s post about Bianca “putting a smile back on his face again”, Alice launched her tirade. She made accusations about the couple’s relationship and insisted they were a couple for three decades.

After her initial outburst, wardrobe assistant Amy Douglas – a friend and co-worker of Ioan, who worked with the star and Bianca on Australian series Harrow – denied Alice’s claims in a series of tweets, as she accused Alice herself of being ‘abusive,’ and insisted they didn’t begin speaking until filming for series three began in 2020.

Amy, who claimed Ioan and Bianca allowed her to speak, supported her friends after Alice accused her of cheating on her over three years with the actress. She is 21 years older than her, and told fans she was ‘lost’ and’sad’.  

Alice wrote to Amy in response. If you’re interested in this, we can help. But it’s not a great look to spit on the victim. Even for a fashion designer.’

One of her Twitter fans wrote: “Alice,” my dear. You are above this public exposure. Alice replied, “Please don’t,” I have nothing left. The threats are even worse. What would you suggest? (And you know that ai value your opinion)

Another online friend wrote, “You have all us. Even though we don’t know each other beyond Twitter, we are friends and would be happy to help as much as possible. This is going to be one of the hardest journeys in your life but you’re strong and those girls will grow up strong because of you.’

Alice graciously replied: ‘Thank you. It doesn’t matter. It WON’T matter in the future. People still talking about “IRL friends” are like those who were talking to their wall phone spoiling letters or books spring toys. We evolve. MOST of my friends online are friends! 

Alice responded to Ioan’s defense by saying: “Miranda, HE has been talking terribly to my face for months. Instead of saying, “Look, I’m sorry, but I’ve fallen in love”, he told me that I’m basically worthless…

Rage: In response to Amy, Alice later penned: ‘You totally and absolutely know that they started seeing each other before he told me he didn’t love me and wanted a divorce. We can help you with this. It’s not a good look to spit on someone. Even for a fashion designer’

“He IS. He also posted an instagram picture today that showed more or less what everyone had been thinking. He has not only gone against his “OFW”, but he has also gone against his “no family photos” policy! I mean, WHO doesn’t want photos with their kidsz?

The follower then wrote: ‘You’re constantly trying to shame this guy, what’s the plan here? Forcing him into staying with you? Forcing him to love you? If a person feels like they don’t want to be with someone anymore, they have a right look for happiness elsewhere. Marriage is not about owning another person. 2/3’.

Alice replied, “What? Is it too much to expect that if he falls madly in love with a mother after 20 years of being together, he will sit down and tell me kindly? Instead of spending 18 months sending threats through lawyers, refusing me to speak to me, and telling everyone I am a bully/manipulator?

Continuing in their reactions, the follower penned: ‘I really do feel your pain Alice, it’s one of the worst things in the world to be left & told you’re not loved anymore, but what are you trying to achieve here? It’s like you’re trying to reason feelings, someone fell out of love with you…

Anger: She vented her anger at her critics and thanked other people for their support in her series of angry tweets

It happened to all of us. 1/3… I really do have sympathy, someone you love leaving you is the worst, but also she’s too cought up in her pain, not seeing she’s hurtful to others too. She says he had to let her know he’s dating someone. But did she let him know that she will be shaming him on Twitter when this began?

Alice, furious, wrote: “WHAT? WHAT THE F**KIN FUCK? Who am I “hurting”? My beloved career was over because there is no film in LA and we were a team. How can you POSSIBLY relate the feelings I feel now to someone whose feelings have been hurt? This is worse than losing my Mom. Or my sister.

Another follower commented on Amy and her intervention, “Uh who is that person?” She doesn’t know s**t. Just trying to cover up to their cheating ways’, leading to Alice writing: ‘Her name is Amy Douglas. She has only ever worked on ONE film – as an Extra in HARROW. Bianca Wallace was an Extra. I’m not sure how many scenes or days. They seemed friendly.

One follower claimed Alice was acting out of her star sign. She wrote: ‘This moment is very Leo. Attention is more important than anything. Even when it’s embarrassingly desperate. It makes me sad. 

She was not happy: Her rage was a response to the situation 

Alice swiftly responded: ‘Absolute crock of s**t Leo whatever. Nothing so terrible has ever happened to me (despite losing Mum, Dad and Step-sister, best friends) I don’t want attention. I will not pray for your prayers. Consider me ’embarrassingly depressed’. In your dreams a*shole’. 

She wrote, “Oh Jeez. I am not a victim. In this scenario, I am “the victim”. I have come from nothing, and I have achieved everything I have. This too will pass. Victim – my a*s.’

She revealed that her children knew about the drama in further messages. Ella wrote: “We’re all around breakfast table and Ella already saw in on hers. Mine comes up. (Elsie already has it on hers, but she isn’t interested). What do YOU think “not telling truth” to kids is a good MO ?… 

Anger: She made her rage on social media later that day 

“I did! What’s the alternative to that? Let her think that her Dad “would never have another girl” – a mantra she’s used for the last year. You think I should lie ????’

She said, “I’ve never understood the people that don’t like divorce fights or dirty linens fights on Twitter.” Why don’t they just scroll by? My take? Disingenuousness. Disingenuousness.   

‘I said “He blamed the collapse of our marriage on things I had done wrong, forcing me to try to change myself, when all the time he was s**ggin the 20 yo extra and I had nothing to do with it. HE LIE. He could have been truthful. It’s so hard ?… Oh, wait! I get it! Are you saying that there are “RULES?” God, that’s so stupid. So…

“Tell me the rules. There are no rules in marriage. Who is with me? (Cos he can go and shag an random while we’re still married.) So tweet if s/o hurts you, I have to stay [quiet]”.

One fan brought the image to her attention, asking: “Have you ever seen this?” Alice replied, “Yep. It was my first cry of morning. I hope that the middle thing isn’t a ring,” he wrote, referring to the shooting stars emoji he included with his post.  

Prior to her latest onslaught on tweets, sources spoke to The Sun about the scenario, with insiders stating: ‘Ioan has denied so many things since they separated, and at times Alice began to doubt herself and wonder if she had things wrong in her own mind. Now she feels like this confirms all her beliefs.

Pain: One fan brought her attention to the image, saying: ‘Have you seen this? Alice replied: “I’m sure you have.” It was my first cry of morning. I hope the middle thing doesn’t ring’, referring to the shooting star emoticon he included in his post

‘She had asked him many times if this was all about someone else, but Ioan told her it wasn’t — even though she suspected that may have been the case because his behaviour towards her changed so dramatically.

‘Now that she knows he has met someone else — and it’s someone he has known for so long — all of her other suspicions and doubts have come flooding back and it has totally floored her.

“Stuff she had been capable of burying and moving on from is now back in her mind and she has all those doubts and uncertainties again. It’s a terrible time.

According to an industry insider, he felt that his relationship with Alice was over and didn’t hide anything. Bianca and he certainly seem happy and at ease together. It is hoped that it will work out in the end for the good of all. 

Rage: She attacked Bianca, claiming that they were best friends  

Alice accused Tamzin Ofhwaite of knowing about it in a now-deleted comment. The former EastEnders actress wrote in a now-deleted commentary: “You look amazing. And younger somehow.’

Alice furiously replied: “@glamzin Tamzin?” What the heck? This ???’ was something you knew. Tamzin, however, denied that she knew about Ioan’s affair with Bianca. Tamzin stated to MailOnline: “I didn’t know.” But I have nothing to add.

Alice’s tweets were sent just minutes after Ioan made his love for Bianca official by sharing a beaming photo of him on-set with the caption: “Thank you for making my smile again” – which Chanel shared later and thanked Ioan for bringing Bianca joy.

Bianca’s social channels offer insight into her daily life. While her Instagram feed is full of bikini-clad shots, her Twitter feed contains profound quotes and multiple retweets. These accounts are all focused on the Law Of Attraction, which is a spiritual movement that promotes positivity in one’s life. 

Alice has not been shy about revealing the breakdown of her marriage with Ioan on social media. She previously criticized him for being ‘devoid or any empathy’ and “disingenuous”.

Ioan filed for divorce from Alice on March 1, citing irreconcilable conflicts as the reason behind their split. The document, filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on March 1, showed that Ioan and Alice had divorced on New Year’s Day. This was a month after they made public their relationship status. 

They had made a joint statement, which read: “As we can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time in our family’s life and we remain committed towards our children.” Thank you for respecting my privacy. Also, it was reported that the divorce papers stated that the exes were in a “collaborative process” and intended to resolve all issues, including spousal support, by written agreement. 

Sister act: Bianca’s sister Chanel, 26, gave the relationship a firm seal of approval, as she shared the post on her Instagram stories and added the caption: ‘Seeing the smile Yo brings to my sister and showing her the true love she deserves makes my heart so full of happiness. Welcome to the Reed Richards family. [sic]

Alice, meanwhile, addressed the couple’s split in a shocking statement posted to Twitter in January. In it, she claimed Ioan had’mentally tortured’ her.  The mum-of-two also accused her estranged husband of ‘winding the s**t up me’ as she posted a vitriolic video about their ‘collaborative divorce’ talks.

Alice and Ioan They met at the set of 102 Dalmatians when Alice was in a relationship to Olivier, Pablo Picasso’s great-grandson. Six years later, she and Ioan were engaged after she gave him an ultimatum regarding their relationship. They tied the knot in intimate Mexican ceremony in September 2007.  

Ioan has not spoken publicly about the couple’s divorcement.
