Marcus Lamb, an anti-vaccine Christian broadcaster, died Tuesday from Covid-19. This was weeks after he contracted the virus.
Lamb was the co-founder and CEO of the Texas-based conservative Christian Daystar Television Network that has been a vocal opponent of coronavirus vaccines.
The broadcaster, who was born in Cordele, Georgia, becomes the latest conservative radio hosts who has publicly shared anti-vaccine views, or views against virus measures, to succumb to Covid-19.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Marcus Lamb, founder and president of Daystar Television Network went home to the Lord this morning,” the network stated in a tweet posted Tuesday.
The family wishes to keep their privacy as they mourn this loss. Keep praying for them.
Lamb’s news comes several weeks after Jonathan Lamb filled in as his dad on a November 23 broadcast and asked his listeners for their prayers for his recovery.
Joni Lamb, Marcus’ wife called into the hospital to request that viewers pray for clear lungs.
‘It’s like, you’ll just be up and everything’s great, and then you have a little lull, and then you come down low and then you come back up, but from everybody that I talk to — I think that’s the pattern,’ she said over the telephone.
We can feel people’s prayers. She added that you should pray specifically for him to get rid of the Covid pneumonia. Also, ask for an increase in his oxygen levels so we can take him off oxygen and bring him home.

Jonathan Lamb described his father’s Covid-19 infected as a spiritual attack by the enemy to “take down” his father.
According to NBC News, the network is worth $230 million and has dedicated hours to anti-lockdown activists and groups.
The Lamb family broadcasted an hour in July 2020 to discuss censorship and the Covid pandemic. It featured the misinformation group America’s Frontline Doctors.
Daystar broadcast in May a show of an hour featuring Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose family was quick to rebuke his anti-vaccine opinions as far back as May 2019.
Kennedy was recently banned by Instagram for posting Covid vaccine misinformation, and was found in March to be one of 12 Facebook accounts posting around two-thirds of the anti-vaccine social media content.
The virus claimed the lives of at least four conservative radio talk-show host who were anti-vaccine or anti-mask views.

Marc Bernier (65-years-old) was one of them. He self-described him as Mr. Anti-Vax’.
Another were Phil Valentine (61) who was a well-known radio host from Tennessee; Jimmy DeYoung (81) who was also a Christian preacher, who was also based there, and Dick Farrel (65) who worked on a few radio stations in Miami Beach, Florida.
Bob Enyart was a former pastor at Denver Bible Church and conservative Christian radio host. He also died September after contracting Covid.
Enyart was a staunch opponent of the Coronavirus vaccines and restrictions such as mask mandates.
His strong faith led to him being a controversial radio host and pastor. He was also a fierce critic of the LGBT community and the pro-choice movement.
His Real Science Radio program featured the ex-pastor who lamented the hospitalizations of COVID-19 victims and gave advice about how to get rid of the virus.
Also in September, popular podcast host Joe Rogan, who has also downplayed the need for coronavirus vaccines and touted ivermectin as a treatment, also announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.
Vaccines are still the best and safest way to protect against serious side effects and consequences of Covid-19.

Six months following the completion of their two initial doses, the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention recommended that every adult in America receive a booster shot with the COVID-19 vaccinations.
The CDC released a September study that found vaccines could still prevent the hospitalization of people with high-infectious Delta variant infections.
A separate study carried out in Britain found that those who are vaccinated are less likely to spread the coronavirus to others if they do become infected.
With the emergence of the potentially even more infectious Omicron variant of concern spreading rapidly in southern Africa, the CDC reinforced its advice about Covid-19 booster jabs on Tuesday, saying all eligible adults should get them.
Israel’s Health Chief claimed, however that Omicron should not be spread to people who have had their booster Pfizer Covid vaccination or who received their second jab in the last six months.
Nitzan H. Horowitz, Minister of Health, stated Tuesday that there was “room for optimism” based only on “initial indications”.
An Israeli news channel reported that the Pfizer jab had been 90 percent effective in preventing Omicron symptoms, which is slightly more than Delta.
