“Prove us. They are a danger… Yes, they have to prove it. “Prove to me that you are a threat,” said another man.

A police officer replied that there was no need for the restaurant to prove anything and that it did not have a constitutional right.

The officer stated, “You can make 10 reservations but that does not guarantee…It isn’t a constitutional right.”

Donald Trump, former President of the United States, received and encouraged getting the COVID-19 booster shot this week

New York broke its COVID records record third time in a row, with an incredible 44,431 cases recorded on Christmas Eve.

The  numbers were shared by State Governor Kathy Hochul at a Friday morning press conference. She blamed the huge spike on the Omicron variant, estimated to be behind 92percent of new infections in the Empire State, and said: ‘This is a very, very contagious variant.’

But Hochul also struck a note of optimism, insisting: This is not Delta. Omicron is the one that has proven to be less severe than its effects so far. It isn’t the same scenario as in March 2020, or last winter’s surge. There has been more testing. Our opportunities have increased.

Hochul revealed also that COVID hospitalizations increased by five percent in one day and currently sit at 4,744. The governor pointed out that this figure is much lower than the number of people who contracted the virus in December 2020, when 7,000 were admitted to hospital.

Hochul stated that New York’s essential workers will now be able to stay isolated for only five days after being tested positive for COVID. Hochul claims she does this in an effort to combat staff shortages that are being blamed on the 10-day isolation rules.
