Otto von Habsburg, one of the great figures of modern European history.

Otto Habsburg, a 1912-born heir to the empire, died in exile after World War I.

He rose from the ashes and democratized Europe’s collapsed empire to champion a united and democratic Europe after the Second World War.

Habsburg used his influence to stop the Nazis from annexeing Austria before World War II. He then campaigned against Soviet rule in the decades that followed.

After the fall of Berlin Wall, he used the European Parliament seat to lobby for an expansion of the European Union that would include former Eastern bloc states.

Despite Eleonore’s royal connections, she previously told Madonna24 how her parents have always insisted that she and her siblings stay ‘grounded’ and she loves shopping in high street stalwarts such as Mango, Zara and H&M.

She told the site that she was incredibly grateful to her parents for not allowing her to believe it was normal to live in London in a chic apartment and go to Swiss boarding schools.

Eleonore has been with d’Ambrosio, since early 2017 and has close links to the racing world with her brother, Ferdinand Habsburg, a DTM driver.

She is the eldest of three siblings. She attended boarding school in Gstaad (Switzerland) and then studied law at London’s European Business School.

The brainy aristo beauty can speak fluent German and English and is also reportedly proficient in French, Spanish and Spanish.

Fashion runs in the family, as her mother, a descendant from Swiss nobility and a former model, went on to become an art collector.

It is not known whether she has pursued a career in law, however she has risen to prominence in the fashion world with high-profile campaigns for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana under her belt.

She was hand-picked to star in the Italian luxury label’s SS18 runway show in Milan alongside other society beauties including Lady Kitty Spencer, Lady Amelia Windsor and Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark.

Madonna24 claims she isn’t pursuing modeling but insists that it was a great learning experience.
