Police evict Aussie cricketers and English cricketers from a bar after Ashes festivities. Some are still in their gear.

Incredible footage shows the moment Australia’s and England cricket stars are kicked off a rooftop bar for partying until the early hours of the morning to celebrate the Ashes. 

Video showed officers disguised as police telling Australian stars Nathan Lyon and Travis Head, Alex Carey, and England captain Joe Root that they should leave Crowne Plaza Hobart at dawn on Monday morning.

Carey, Lyon and other players were wearing full-length cricket whites almost 12 hours after Australia won the series 4-0.

Incredible footage shows the moment England’s cricket players were kicked off a roof bar by police.

England bowler Jimmy Anderson, who was filmed wearing a grey camouflage hoodie, was among the other players who were asked to leave.

An alarm clock was visible behind the video indicating that the group had been kicked out around 6 am. 

According to a spokesperson for Tasmania Police, officers were dispatched when there was a report of “intoxicated persons in a public area”.

The spokesman stated that the officers spoke to guests just before 6:00 AM. They then left the scene when they were asked.

“No further actions will be taken police.”
