One woman shared her disappointment at the ‘disrespectful Australia Post worker’ who carelessly dropped her package on her staircase.
TikTok shared footage of the postal worker. It shows him looking up at the stairs and then putting the parcel on her balcony.
‘WTF! Such disrespect for my mail!’ The footage has received more than 362,000 views, she captioned it.
After footage of him carrying her package up the staircase, a woman has called Australia Post employee ‘disrespectful.
She explained that there was a mailbox at her house on street level where the worker could have placed the package.
Daily Mail Australia reached out to Australia Post in order for them to comment.
Some people agreed that the worker could easily walk up and drop the parcel off. Others criticised her for demanding too much.
One commented, “He could have taken the item back to a postal office and had you pick it up.”
Another wrote, “He could’ve left you a note and asked you to go get it…so long as it didn’t have fragile markings.”
“He saved you from taking the round trip up the steps.” A third said, “What a legend!”
Other people claimed that the problem was with the postie.
“All these people would be screaming if there was a food delivery service that did this, Your job is to deliver the right way, TikTokker stated.”
The parcel is being carried up the stairs by the postman, who then walks off.
