Dolet Hill’s relative, Dolet Hill (63), confirmed that she was among four victims found at Bermondsey’s terraced house early this morning. She also identified a woman in her 40s, and another woman in her 30s.
She claimed that Ms Hill’s niece had two daughters, and then two grandchildren. However, locals believe she was a housekeeper at Southwark’s Guy’s Hospital.
Another neighbor commented that “She was lovely, she worked as a housekeeper at Guy’s Hospital.” Also, she was undergoing treatment for cancer. This is unbelievable.
She said, “I’m very close to her. I heard nothing until the cops arrived at her door.” Her two daughters are known to me. She and her family are in my prayers. It is a horrible, terrible thing that has happened.
Another person added, “My friend known Dolet. She used to work alongside her at Guy’s Hospital. She had lived in Jamaica for some time, but was originally Jamaican.
“I didn’t know what had happened, but I was able to see from my place that at least two of these victims were taken into the street by the paramedics and police. They continued their treatment for several hours.”
Venecia Reid, Ms Hill’s niece, paid her respects and stated that she didn’t merit this. She told reporters nearby: ‘She was very loving. She sacrificed a lot to provide for her daughters and grandkids. She isn’t worthy of this.
