Downton Abbey: A New Era has been eagerly anticipated by fans. The sequel to 2019’s film will feature the Crawleys traveling to South France to solve a mystery at Violet Crawley’s villa, Dowager Countess of Grantham. A talented director is also planning to film the film. 

As she graced the red carpet for the much-anticipated film premiere, Laura Haddock, who is joining the cast of Downton, looked sensational in a sheer silver sequinned gown with feathered detailing and a matching cape.

Julian Fellowes (creator of Downton) previously revealed some details about the film, which is based off the TV show.

Julian spoke about the project and said, “It’s really an era.” As the 20s progressed, so did the world. The ’20s saw a significant shift in entertainment, transport and other areas. We’re talking about that.

Julian considers Downton as an extension and continuation of hit television series that ran for six seasons in 2010-2015. He also explained that the new movie would pick up where the 2019 movie left off.
