Boris Johnson was seen Saturday with his wife Carrie Johnson, and their baby girl in central London at the hospital.
The prime minister was seen climbing out of a black Range Rover donning a black face mask emblazoned with a Union Jack, paired with a grey suit, red jumper and white open-collared shirt.
This came at a time when the number of scandals facing government was increasing – last night’s revelations that Treasury held a drunken impromptu party in November 2013 which violated the Covid rules.
A Tory MP today compared his premiership to that of the doomed Theresa May’s, claiming he had ‘f***d’ it over the Christmas party furore.
The MP stated that the anger was right up there with the dogs days of May’s premiership.
‘Two years on almost to the day from Boris’s biggest triumph he has, not to put too fine a point on it, f***ed it.
“His odds of getting to the next election are well below 50-50.
“He’s treating British people like his former relationships. It’s not a edifying sight.”
This is the scathing review:
- Growing Tory anger at Plan B restrictions announced on Wednesday
- A continuing fallout from last Christmas’s allegedly illegal No10 party
- The £17,800 fine handed to the Conservatives Thursday over a controversial donation which helped cover the lavish refurbishments to the PM’s Downing Street flat
- Savanta ComRes Poll for Daily Mail, Friday shows that Boris Johnson is distrusted by two thirds.
- The Conservatives falling eight points behind Labour in a snap poll by Focaldata on Friday

It was the day after the Prime Minister declared that England would be joining Plan B in an effort to stop the spread of Omicron coronavirus.
Apart from the Tory fury over these restrictions, Johnson had to deal with the consequences of last year’s supposedly rule-breaking No10 Christmas party. This led Allegra Stratton, a senior Government aide, to resign.

According to the official spokesperson for the Prime Minster, Thursday’s statement was: “I believe there is recognition that the Prime Minister plays a unique position and that this time in the country has been particularly difficult. “We were made aware by a few of the staff that they had enjoyed impromptu beverages at their desks following the event.”
