Matt Hancock has been pictured holding hands with his lover Gina Coladangelo on an early morning stroll just days after he publicly apologised for his rule-breaking affair and admitting the pair’s infamous kiss was ‘a failure of leadership’.

The pair made a rare public appearance as they were seen snuggling together while walking through London together.

He was seen in an intimate clinch with Ms Coladangelo (married aide, millionaire lobbyist) in the Whitehall office. It marked his departure from ministry and his 15-year-long marriage to Martha.

Mr Hancock lost his job when it emerged they were seeing each other despite her being his £15,000-a-year aide and them breaking social distancing rules that he had himself created.

Reports in media suggested that he left Martha, his 44-year-old wife, in order to have a long-term relationship with Ms Coladangelo who had married Oliver Bonas founder Oliver Tressas.

But it comes just days after Mr Hancock made yet another public appearance after months in the political wilderness on ITV’s Peston – where he made a third grovelling apology for his conduct but failed to directly mention his wife Martha by name.

“I’d blown up all of my lives and concentrated only on my personal, as I can imagine. This was the right decision.

Father-of-3 ended 15 years of marriage to Martha. He has been in a long-term relationship with Ms Coladangelo. She was a friend from university and also had three children.

Since their Oxford University days, the pair have been photographed together in public events for almost two years. The most recent image is from September 2019, at which time they attended the Conservative Party Conference.
