A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a schoolboy aged 14 who was stabbed in an attack outside a station train station.

  • Jermaine cools was killed by knife injuries near West Croydon station.
  • A second schoolboy was also arrested yesterday for murder. He has not been identified.

The murder of a fourteen-year-old boy by a teenager was charged in the case against him. He was attacked outside a station and stabbed to death.  

Jermaine Cools, who was just six minutes after 6:30 last month, died of multiple knife wounds in an altercation near West Croydon station.

Yesterday, detectives confirmed that another 16-year-old schoolboy was taken into custody on suspicion of murder.

Since then, the suspect was charged with murder and possessing an offensive weapon. The suspect was then questioned by investigators.

Police arrived on the scene of the fighting on November 18 and found no victims. Jermaine, however, was taken to hospital around 30 minutes later in life-threatening condition.

Just after 7pm, he made his own way towards a hospital in South London, suffering from multiple stab injuries. He died shortly afterwards, according to police.

Jermaine was found to have multiple stab injuries, according to the Met Police.

Police today also appealed to witnesses and the public for any video or pictures from the brawl. This content can be anonymized via the Met Police website.

According to a spokesperson for the force, the following was the statement from the police: “Police in Croydon investigating the assassination of Jermaine cools (14-year-old) have made an arrest.”

“The 16-year old male suspect was taken into custody on Monday 27th December on suspicion of murder. He is currently being held at South London Police Station.

“Police were dispatched to London Road near West Croydon Railway Station at 6:41 PM on Thursday November 18 to investigate reports of fighting involving several people.

Police responded quickly to the call of a teenager who had presented with multiple stab wounds.

The boy passed away shortly afterwards, despite the doctors’ efforts.

“The 14-year old boy was later identified as Jermaine Cools. Jermaine was found to have suffered multiple stab injuries during a post-mortem.
