One little boy captured millions’ hearts after dressing in a suit and sending flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals, and other gifts to his classmates in Valentine’s Day honor.
Shelby Small (32), New York documented the touching moment Anthony gifted Lila gifts in front of her door.

Anthony, five years old, dressed up as a suit in order to surprise Lila (his crush) with chocolates and flowers ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Small captioned this clip: “My 5-year-old asks a girl from his class to become his Valentine.”
The clip shows Anthony looking dapper in a navy suit as he waits patiently outside his classmate Lila’s house with her gifts in his hand.
“May I meet Lila?” He politely questions the man at the door.
He hands Lila a bouquet, box with chocolates in a heart shape, and rainbow stuffed animals when she comes to visit him.
He says, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”


Lila came up to him to meet him and he gave her all her Valentine’s Day gift.

Anthony was touched by the gesture of Lila, who leaned in to give him a hug.
The woman who appears to be Lila’s mom offers to help Anthony with his gifts so that he can hug her before she leaves.
More than 148,000 people have commented on the video, expressing their appreciation for Anthony’s touching gesture.
‘What a little gentleman,’ one person gushed, while another added: ‘This was the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Small is pictured in the photo with her son. Small explained in comments that Anthony had suggested dressing up in a suit in order to surprise Lila. They live three houses apart.

Someone else laughed and said, “Those parents should get along cuz I think that they will be in-laws.”
Small responded to the commenter by saying that she knows Lila’s parents from high school and lives just three houses away.
‘There’s some GROWN men that need to take notes from this lil guy,’ one woman noted, while another commented: ‘It really starts with the parents… they don’t make them like this no more! Good job young man.’
But, Lila’s shock was not her fault. He picked out this shirt after she had told him.
