Brazilian bikini model Liziane Gutierrez, who claimed that Chris Brown attacked her in Las Vegas in 2016, is now the latest foreigner to visit war-torn Ukraine and join aid efforts

Bikini-model and Chris Brown suing him is now the latest foreigner who has traveled to Ukraine to join the fight against Russia.

Liziane Gutierrez was sued by Brown in 2016 for an alleged Las Vegas altercation. She flew to Krakow (Poland) earlier in this month and crossed into Ukraine.

Brazilian-born model with over 1 million Instagram followers is now helping to deliver food and medicine to the crisis nation.

Ms Gutierrez was said to have received around $70,000 (£50,000) in compensation after alleging in 2016 that a member of Brown’s entourage assaulted her at a luxury party hosted by the musician.

She stated, “I chose to go too because it was impossible for me to just observe what was happening at my home and do nothing,”

“Officially, I get scared in Ukraine. But when I do the right thing for someone else, it makes me feel good.

“We go to various places such as this hospital in Chervonohrad or some stations of police in Lviv or Lutsk. We also take our children to schools. 

The Brazilian-born model, who boasts over a million followers on Instagram, is now delivering food and medicine in the besieged nation

Ms Gutierrez said that the Russian army had taken some volunteers and now those who were delivering food or aid are accompanied by officers escorting them.

However, the sirens from air raids were the most terrifying thing she claimed.

She said, “When I hear the siren it’s super frightening because we don’t know what to do.” It’s impossible to adapt to.

Additional images of her include donated goods at a Lviv warehouse and with an rescued family that had crossed into Zosin in Poland.

Ms Gutierrez claimed that those delivering food and aid were now accompanied by police escorts after the Russian army had captured some volunteers

Ms Gutierrez said that the Russian army took some volunteers and now those who were delivering food and assistance are accompanied by police officers.

'I decided to come too because I couldn't just watch what was happening from my house and do nothing,' Ms Gutierrez said

“I came to see what was going on in my home, and I had no choice but to do something about it,” Ms Gutierrez stated.

“The Ukrainian people regard us as heroes, she continued.

‘Sometimes I feel like crying when I see families breaking apart – men over 18 years old can’t get out of Ukraine.

I see families all the time with nothing but a backpack and their papers, leaving behind everything.

“But, we can’t let go of our grief. We’re here to support these families.”

It’s not clear how many foreigners have traveled to Ukraine to help in humanitarian efforts.

The Ukrainian government updated its website on March 6 to say that they had received over 20,000 requests from Russians seeking to help them fight Russia.
