Britney Spears shared that she had her first glass of champagne in almost 14 years at a celebration dinner at Catch West Hollywood.
Pop star, 39 years old, had written about her “amazing” first weekend after she was granted freedom from the conservatorship on November 12. It included some alcohol.
According to reports, Toxic had abstained for a time from alcohol in 2007, following a public mental breakdown.

Spears posted on Instagram Monday, informing her 36.3M Instagram followers of her weekend. She mentioned she had lightly consumed alcohol.
‘What an amazing weekend … I felt like I was on cloud 9 the whole time !!! The most stunning restaurant I’ve seen was where I got my first glass a champagne.In an excerpt, she said:
Elle said she was going to be celebrating her freedom and B-day for the next two weeks and that, after 13 years in prison under conservatorship she felt she had “waited too long.”

Spears enjoyed an intense partying period during which she was joined by Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and others in the early 2000s.
When things began to fall apart in her private life, she had been an addict.
In 2007, Famously Spears had her hair shaved by Sam Lufti, her ex manager. This was done to keep authorities from drug-testing her.
‘She told me someone had told her that they can scientifically test her hair for a history of drug use, so she shaved it off,’ Lufti said during a civil trial against Spears and her parents Jamie and Lynne.

That year she was hospitalized twice and lost custody of her children, and proceeded to check herself into rehab shortly after — but it was claimed family members had pressed her to do so.
Larry Rudolph was her manager at the time. He had told her that she checked herself in to Promises Malibu Treatment Center, but she didn’t specify what substance.
One day after checking in to the facility, it was announced that she had already left. This marked her second departure in a week.
Spears was placed in conservatorship in 2008. She recently stated that her father had put her in conservatorship, but it was actually her mother who suggested it.
‘My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago… but what people don’t know is is [sic]That’s me!”She wrote it in an early November posting.

Spears was reportedly sober since the conservatorship started. A source confirmed to Page Six that Spears still abstains in 2017.
“She is in a Britney bubble.” According to a source, she is healthy. She just celebrated another year in sobriety.
It was revealed that the team she was on during her 2018 Piece of Me Tour was taking strict steps to make sure that she didn’t drink alcohol.
‘Britney’s team set strict guidelines that no alcohol at all could be served backstage, because they want to keep it away from her, and also many of her dancers are underage,’ an insider told the publication saying it was ‘policy throughout her tour.’
Straight Shuter was also informed by a source that the singer’s advance team will ensure that no alcohol remains in any hotel she visits. Access to her will also be restricted to prevent any shady characters from getting near her.

Spears had her conservatorship ended by Judge Penny in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday 11th November. There was no need for further psychological or medical evaluations.
Mathew Rosengart her lawyer told Mathew the judge that “The time is now to end conservatorship” and then called it a “monumental moment” for the pop star.
‘What’s next for Britney is up to one person — and this is the first time we can say this in a decade. Britney can decide,’ he said to reporters. Britney is now a completely free woman.
And as she had publicly talked about suing her family — namely father Jamie — he added that it would be ‘up to her’ if there were to be a lawsuit.
An insider familiar with the matter confirmed that Spears had retained forensic accountants, and intended to sue Jamie her father for conservatorship abuse.

The insider stated that Jamie Spears is “mad as hell” and she could see a lawsuit against Jamie Spears soon. She also said that Jamie Spears has blamed her father for essentially ruining her life over the last 13 years.
Reportedly Jodi Montgomery — the woman who was her personal conservator (not of the estate) helped her craft a post-conservatorship plan that will be kept secret from Jamie.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ her camp filed a ‘termination plan’ which includes guidelines ‘for supportive decision-making to help [Britney]Adjust and make a transition to a life without the conservatorship.
As the singer is reportedly against any attempt to invade her privacy, Rosengart the lawyer for Spears will not be able to see the plan.
