After sexually assaulting 14-year old schoolgirl during a work placement, a businessman was sentenced to nearly three years in prison.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Kim Lamplugh (48), from Birchwood in Essex subjected his victim sexual assaults that were ‘escalating in nature’ in January 2019.
He was convicted at Wood Green Crown Court of seven counts of sexual assault in October and sentenced to two years and seven months’ imprisonment on November 29.
Lamblugh, who owned the business in Enfield where the assaults took place, received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was ordered to sign the sex offenders register.

The 14-year-old girl began work experience on Monday, January 14, 2019, and later reported Lamblugh’s behaviour to police. A thorough investigation was launched.
On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, he was arrested and released under conditional bail until his trial.
Annette Corry, Detective Constable from North Area CID stated that this was a prey act intended to target a young girl.
