Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has today also tested positive for Covid-19 just days after her husband Prince Charles –  with the couple now both self-isolating.

According to royal sources, Camilla has had her triple vaccinations. Clarence House also stated that Clarence House would continue to review and follow the government’s guidelines regarding Camilla’s engagements.

Charles was not the only one to get the virus, but Camilla did. Charles also tested positive last Thursday. She performed engagements.

Clarence House spokesperson said that the Duchess of Cornwall had tested positive for Covid-19, and was self-isolating. We will continue to adhere to government guidelines.

The news comes as doctors monitor the Queen’s condition after Charles, who was first diagnosed with Covid-19 last week less than 48 hours after visiting his mother, is now being monitored by specialists.

Camilla stated that she is a ‘thankfully’ negative on the same day. She also said of her Buckinghamshire test regime last Thursday, ‘I have taken it so many time’.

Concerns for Queen Elizabeth’s health grew last week as the 95-year old monarch had been in close contact with Charles just two days prior to his positive test.

He had never seen her since Christmas Day. Charles was also triple immunized and suddenly tested positive in routine lateral flow tests.

Buckingham Palace declined to confirm whether Queen Elizabeth had been tested or what it was.

Last week, Buckingham Palace also announced that the Queen will be returning to her official duties with a more gentle approach following recent illness.

Charles is 73 years old and it’s not known if he has ever had any symptoms. Although he is not showing any symptoms, officials have declined to say where.

The Duchess, his wife of 74 years, tested positive on Thursday just before he began a series of public appearances.

On Wednesday, however, the couple was able to rub shoulders with over 350 people at an event hosted by the British Asian Trust at the British Museum.

Charles met and greeted Chancellor Rishi Unak and Priti Patel, Home Secretary.

Charles and Camilla spent an extended weekend at Highgrove in Gloucestershire, Charles’ country home.

Camilla traveled to Bath for her engagements. Charles, who was to attend Winchester’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and unveiled a statue, arrived in Bath on Thursday.

The announcement of his positive test was made just after midday – about 12 minutes before he had been due to arrive.

There were more than 1000 people gathered in Jewry Street to protest the Queen.

Charles sent a message to his crowd: “I’m so sorry I can’t be here today. It is a terrible disappointment, as I had been so excited to celebrate this important occasion with you.

According to current Covid rules Camilla lives with Charles and was not forced to be isolated when she test negative. She is fully vaccinated.

Both Charles and Camilla can be released from isolation provided they both test positive on days five and six, and have not taken a temperature.

Charles is now infected with the virus for the second consecutive time. At the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020 when there was no vaccine available, Charles tested positive for Covid.
