Carrie Johnson talks to Netflix in order to make a documentary that is hard hitting about elephants.

Mrs Johnson (33), is Head of Communications at Aspinall Foundation Wildlife Charity. They are preparing for 13 ivory-tusked creatures to be relocated from Howletts Wild Animal Park, Kent, to Kenya, Africa.

It is the largest move of its type in history and will take place over the next few months.

Netflix and other streaming platforms are now interested in Damian Aspinall’s wife, the prime minister, and their boss. They want to record this moment.

One friend of Mrs Johnson shared with the Daily Mail, “Carrie’s telephone rang constantly after she announced that she was hard at work to rewild the elephants.”

It’s an inspiring tale, and Damian is such a charismatic and passionate person that she’s the best person to tell it.

Carrie received requests from broadcasters across the country to document the search since July’s announcement of the rehoming program.

They will cover 4,000 miles to get there from Kent, where they’ll be met by their Kenyan counterparts.

This will allow Mrs Johnson and Mr Aspinall to create a larger programme about the “cruelty” of zoos.

They plan to create a show that is similar to Seaspiracy. This Netflix series made strong arguments against eating fish, and was one the most-viewed on Netflix.

Aspinall’s Howletts Park in Kent, home to the UK’s largest African elephant herd, is also home for over 390 animals including gorillas, tigers and leopards.

The centre’s primary function is as a breeding center for endangered and rare species, something it has done for over 40 years.

Sources close to Damian and Carrie said: “Carrie and Damian make the best pair to educate the public about the horrible realities of zoos.” Keep an eye out for this!

After shows featuring leading British personalities such as Sir David Attenborough, it’s a natural result.

In 2019, the naturalist’s hit series Our Planet became Netflix’s most-watched original documentary, viewed by 33 million people in its first month alone.

It comes after shows fronted by figures such as Sir David Attenborough (pictured) have become smash hits on streaming sites
