Christine McGuinness has spoken about the time she was bullied on TV last year – leaving her ‘sobbing, upset and mortified’.
The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star at 33 wrote about it in Christine McGuinness: a Beautiful Nightmare. But she didn’t mention the actual show.
The publication states that the encounter occurred on ITV2 series Hey Tracey! and the perpetrator was Joel’s virtual assistant, played by comedian Donna Preston.

Christine claims the perpetrator said: ‘I’ve got no f***ing idea who you are. I don’t care who you are, I don’t know who you think you are, and I don’t know what you’re even doing here’, leaving her heartbroken.
Speaking about the aftermath of the slur, she said: ‘One of the directors came to check on me afterwards. I guess, as much as I tried to hide my devastation, I was mortified. I rang my husband, sobbing. I was so upset.’

Christine’s agent ultimately persuaded producers to remove the vile moment as they insisted it ‘didn’t look good for anyone involved’.

Although she said she had been contacted on social media by the woman, she declined to answer.
“I didn’t respond and I haven’t spoken with her since.” I am not a bully, and I do not pick on others so I would never want to get involved with anyone like that.

Between 2017 and 2020, the model appeared as a friend of cast members on ITVBe’s series. She then declined offers to sign on permanently.
Her TV host partner, said she was not present because she was adamant that it was all about the glamour and show-off of wealth.
In her new autobiography Christine, who shares three children with Paddy, all of whom have autism, penned: ‘I really wanted to do something for me…
“I felt the need to be out there and meet people. It was a relief from all the problems I had at home.
