The arrests of three men, aged 21 and 46 respectively, are made in connection with murder following the discovery of a body of a woman (47) at a Liverpool flat.

  • Her body was discovered in a flat located in Liverpool’s Mossley Hill. 
  • Merseyside police said that the death is being treated as an ‘unexplained. 
  • The murder of three people aged 41 and 56 has been suspected by the arrests of three young men.  










Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found in Liverpool.

The Green in Mossley Hill was called by police at 4.55pm Thursday, after reports about a body of a woman being discovered in a flat.

The body of 47-year old woman was found by emergency services and declared dead on the spot. 

In the interim, she is being treated for “unexplained” death pending post-mortem results.

The crime scene has been sealed by officers for specialists to conduct a full forensic investigation. 

Police are treating the woman's death as 'unexplained' pending the results of a post mortem

The police have deemed the death of this woman ‘unexplained,’ while they await the outcome of a post-mortem.

In the meantime, officers sealed the area to allow for an in-depth forensic investigation.

Both the 21-year-old and the 57 year old suspects are both from Liverpool’s Stoneycroft. Norris Green, 46 years old, is the third suspect. 

All three were arrested under suspicion of murder. They are currently being interrogated at various police stations throughout the city. 

Merseyside Police said that preliminary investigations were ongoing on the scene. At this stage, detectives consider the incident unsolvable.
