After wearing T-shirts that contained a sexual message about the Disney theme park, an unidentified couple has been the focus of furious debate.

Both T-shirts make use of the letter ‘D’ written in Disney’s signature calligraphy font — but play on a double entendre where ‘D’ can stand for both Disney and a piece of male anatomy.

The shirt reads: “I gave her D,” and a Cinderella castle icon follows the D.

‘I wanted the D,’ reads the woman’s shirt, with the same Cinderella’s castle icon.

It is not clear from this photo where it was taken but it appears to be somewhere near Disney World in Florida or Disneyland, California.

The couple’s guests are also seen wearing Disney-themed gear. But it’s more child-friendly, with shirts featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, and one with the Captain America logo.

The two theme parks are family-friendly and cater to children. However, the unidentified couple seems not concerned with making anyone uncomfortable.

They are pictured walking hand-in–hand in matching jeans and sweaters tied around their waists. The raunchy message on the shirts is clearly legible.

Yet hardly everyone is upset about the shirts’ R-rated joke — in fact, many Twitter users find it quite funny.

It’s the letter D. Let people just have fun. Damn,’ one argued.

Another wrote, “What a great shirt,” while another said, “Ahh, have some humor.” If your children “get” it, they will joke about it with their friends.

“This is truly clever. There is nothing to be unhappy about,’ wrote another.

Others called it ‘cute’, ‘goals’, ‘hilarious’, ‘awesome’, and ‘adorable’.

There are many websites that sell similar T-shirts, some with the same words, and others with different designs. Etsy has dozens of options.

Photos of other couples wearing such shirts have been shared on social media — including at least one couple with children in tow.

Disney parks seemed to approve of these shirts. However the parks reserve right to refuse guests wearing inappropriate clothing.

According to Disney World’s website, “We reserve all rights to deny admission to or remove any person wearing inappropriate or detracting attire,”
