After her December 2020 death, Dame Barbara Windsor has revealed the amount she left for her family members, friends and charity.
Not only did the star, who died aged 83 following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease, leave her husband of twenty years, Scott Mitchell, £4.6million, but she also donated £1000 each to seven different charities, according to The Sun.
Barbara also left 85-year-old Anna Karen – who played Peggy Mitchell’s sister Aunt Sal in EastEnders – £1000.

The paper adds that £5,000 was left to Barbara’s sister-in-law Marsha Alexander and her husband Laurence.
£2000 went to her cousins Leslie Larsen and Julie Elliot.
The NSPCC, Breast Cancer Care, Help The Aged, Grand Order Of Lady Ratlings, National Osteoporisis Society, Headley Court (a wounded soldiers rehab centre) and Age UK made up the seven charities that Barbara left £1000 each to.
Scott, 58, was left the rest of Barbara’s £4.63million estate.

MailOnline reached out to Scott and Anna, representatives of the charities NSPCC and Breast Cancer Care Grand Order Of Lady Ratlings National Osteporisis Society National Osteporisis Society Headley Court, and Age UK, for comments.
After Scott had confirmed that Barbara was the subject of a memorial event, this is now being done.
Covid restrictions meant that only 30 people could attend the funeral of her mother in January.

Scott spoke to The Mirror and confirmed that a larger event was being planned for 2022, so her family can commemorate her death.
He added, “I am certain that I will get something together for next Year.” She passed nine months ago, so I must give myself some time. I’m still processing it.
“But it will be something next. “We’ll ensure that all of her close friends can attend the funeral and be there to remember her.
Scott unveiled a plaque to Barbara in honor of Barbara’s August 84th Birthday.
He stated that he knew it would be difficult for him to get through the day. However, he wanted to give back to Barbara by doing what he could to help her and letting her know that a lot of thoughts were with him.
Barbara’s screen son Ross Kemp played Phil Mitchell in EastEnders. He read a tribute at her funeral.
According to actor, the speech took three days. The actor also stated that he has a photo of his wife in his office from her early twenties.
Barbara was first diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014. She kept her battle with the illness a secret for 4 years.
Memorial: The event comes following Scott’s September confirmation that Barbara will be remembered in a next-year memorial (photo taken in 2017).
Scott said to PA that her death was due to Alzheimer’s/dementia. Barbara died peacefully, and she left me with seven more days.
Barbara will be remembered fondly by her friends, family, and me for all the years of love, joy, and friendship she brought to our lives, as well as the entertainment she provided to thousands during her long career.
“Barbara’s last weeks were typical for how she lived her entire life. It was full of drama, humor and fighting spirit to the very end.
