Katie Price’s family, now a convicted drunk driver, was crying out for help, even though Katie Price could have killed anyone with her illegal behavior six weeks back.
In a since-deleted Instagram post they admitted ‘their worst fears nearly came true’ and vowed to get ‘Kate the help she needs’ – as long as the British public and press played their part.
Team Pricey asked: “We would like to ask the media and the wider public to give Kate the space and time she needs to seek treatment so she can hopefully go back to the Kate that we love and know as a sister, mother and daughter.”
“We are deeply concerned about her, and we know that she leads a public life. To many, she seems fair-game. But, as a family, we wish she could find her way privately and move forward in this difficult time of her life.
Today, as she awaits sentencing and a possible jail sentence next month after a reckless slew of driving offences, Katie isn’t in The Priory – the rehab facility where she assured the judge she would seek treatment but was seen shopping nearby within weeks.
As she narrowly avoids financial ruin, she’s not quietly focusing her attention on her recovery at home. She’s recommitted herself to being a good mother to her five kids once more and is working to rebuild her damaged media career.
But she isn’t trying to confront her drug and booze addictions in privacy, away from all the scrutiny her family says she must be exempted from.
Nope, Jordan has jetted in typically chaotic and controversial fashion to Las Vegas – the party capital of the world, presumably with the permission required from her probation officer.
Six weeks ago Katie Price, newly convicted drunk driver, was asking us to assist her family. Above: What happened after the crash

This is just like asking a sugar addict to stay away from the jelly snakes in a pick-and-mix factory.
Worse still, she’s there with her on again/off again fiancé Carl Woods to get married for the fourth time – and she’s documenting the whole damn event on social media online as if she’s filming a reality show.
As far as I know, she has been “kicked from one flight because she refused to wear a face mask”. So, it is clear that we are not discussing a woman in a state of remission on her journey to a wellness retreat.
And this is the tragedy in Katie’s story. It’s one huge reality show that revolves around Katie’s life. She’s just like the country did 16 years back when she wed Peter Andre, the nation’s sweetheart. After the glamorous queen showed she was a true celebrity on I’m A Celebrity.
To say that Katie and I have experienced a difficult past decade would not be an understatement.
She was once forced to apologise after reposting on Twitter an untrue suggestion I had HIV – prompting fury from AIDS charities that she was making light of such a serious illness – because she was unhappy at what she perceived to be me siding with Peter Andre after their toxic marriage split.
Katie and I had an unhappy decade. But Katie blew the public goodwill – and mine – when she started to put innocent folk’s lives at risk
But, she also remembers good times shared with me, such as at Elton John’s Oscar bash and at other events. I know that she has always respected my survival instincts, her passion for pop music, determination to be a singer and her love for Harvey.
But Katie blew the public goodwill – and mine – when she started to put innocent folk’s lives at risk.
She was involved in a car accident that occurred on September 28. After testing positive for both alcohol and Class A drugs cocaine, she pleaded guilty and was disqualified from driving.
Julie Hutton was the chair and gave Katie an indefinite driving ban. However, she warned that we regularly send drivers to prison when they drive while disqualified.
This case is a matter of principle. Katie, who was disqualified in 2019 for 2 years, had never held a driving license and she has been expelled from all roads 6 times.
This is not an excuse.
Katie’s refusal to acknowledge that she is fighting for her health and instead flew to Vegas for another wedding left me worried she might be in danger of losing everything.
Because she won’t accept that she requires long-term, serious help and not a short, court-ordered stint in rehabilitation, she is going to commit suicide.
You won’t be able to face the prospect of being sentenced to prison if you don’t recognize the need for recovery and time off from reality-TV-style entertainment.
Instead she’s on TikTok today, bragging about how much fun they will have in Las Vegas, and not partying.
Her followers heard her say that he was showing them more of Vegas than they might believe.
I absolutely love Vegas and have had many amazing times in the truly wild Nevada desert – but to delude yourself that Sin City is based on much other than partying is absurd.
As she waited for her marriage license to be issued, today’s witness was seen enjoying a cocktail from a glass. Maybe it was diet coke…
However, I believe that Katie does not need another marriage.
Katie Price was apparently ‘thrown off her connecting flight New York-Las Vegas’ after she refused to use a face mask.
Carl Woods posted an image of a pint and stated that he was heading to his second home. Katie then uploaded a video on her smartphone with a departure board at the back.
She has never recovered from the divorce from Peter Andre – the love of her life and the first man to treat her respectfully.
Pete brought out the best and changed Katie’s life from Jordan in his marriage to Pete.
It is my suspicion that Katie has known this all along and never seemed to be able or willing to let go, despite eight comical engagements.
It was a disaster from beginning to end when Alex Reid and Kieran Hilller had their ‘disunions.
Katie, you’re 43 now. Both metaphorical and real car accidents are not cute. They’re both dangerous and sad.
Although I had been willing to offer you an opportunity to clean up and change your life, it is now obvious that you don’t take this seriously enough.
Consider your mother. Consider your family, who loves you so much. Harvey is dependent on your help.
And grow up by getting on a plane back from Las Vegas today and checking into The Priory again…before it’s too late.
