Jo Kessel (travel writer) captured breathtaking footage during her time at Resorts World Las Vegas. This was the first brand-new hotel that opened on the Strip for over 10 years. The Cosmopolitan opened in 2010 as the last new hotel. The footage shows just how ‘mega’ the resort is, from its oversized rooms to the world’s largest LED globe to its 5,000-seat theatre, the biggest in town. Plus it has the inside scoop on where to eat and drink, including Alle Lounge on 66, the hotel’s top-floor rooftop bar that has a Strip view like no other.
Everything on Las Vegas’ strip is luxurious, high-tech and bigger than life. This means the new Las Vegas hotel, the first to be opened in a decade, fits in perfectly.
This behemoth’s stats are staggering. It’s got 3,500 rooms, 40 restaurants, seven swimming pools and a casino space the size of two football pitches.

Jo finds the statistics associated with Resorts World to be mind-boggling. The resort has over 3,500 rooms and 40 restaurants. Seven swimming pools have seven separate areas. A casino area is the equivalent of two football pitches.

My mission was to experience everything the hotel has to offer during my short stay, a tall order considering its massiveness – but I think I succeeded.

The video starts by showing how the hotel’s flashing red exterior – which has one of the largest LED building displays in the world – stands out on the Las Vegas skyline.
This resort is actually three hotels in one. It has 3500 rooms, divided into the Conrad and Hilton as well as Crockfords.
The hotel has showstoppers around every corner (shown in the film) like Liberace’s piano, the world’s largest LED globe and the biggest theatre Sin City has to offer.

The hotel app can be downloaded to your phone. You will then have access to the door keys from your mobile. You can see my Conrad King Suite in one bedroom, with Strip view.
Modern and chic, the decor features wall-sized windows that reach to floor level and more floor space than average houses.

This footage shows a Jo’s Conrad King Suite one-bedroom with Strip views.

Jo describes Jo’s room as: “The decor is contemporary and stylish with floor to ceiling wall-sized windows and a larger floor-space than the average household.”

Jo proudly displays the rubber duck she received with her suite. She remarks, “The red ducky did come out to play during our stay.”

Jo enjoys a soak in the ‘lavish bath’. The walk-in closet in her suite is also a highlight.
The dressing-room-cum-walk-in-wardrobe leads to a lounge, bedroom and a lavish bathroom complete with toy rubber duck. Yes, the red ducky did come out during my stay.
The hotel’s motto is ‘Stay Fabulous’ (emblazoned on the duck’s packaging) and Resorts World is designed to help with that.
If chilling by one of its seven swimming pools doesn’t do the job, then a trip to the hotel’s spa and its series of plunge pools – called the ‘Fountain of Youth’ – surely will.

Jo took this video to show how Resorts World’s swimming pools are curved around buildings.

According to Jo, the temperature of the pools can vary from freezing to very hot to tepid.

Repeated circuits will not only help you feel a million dollars, but get lucky and they’ll leave you looking a decade younger. It’s worth a try. It beats plastic surgery!
The film follows me as I try my luck at the casino, still radiant from the fountain. 50 cents goes into a fruit machine. How does it work? You will be amazed.

Jo’s video offers a sneak peek inside the hotel’s most expensive accommodation (in Crockfords) – the three-bedroom Palace Suite

Jo dines with Wally at Wally’s. With forty restaurants, there’s ‘something for every taste and budget’ at the resort, she reveals

Jo enjoying Wally’s dinner. She said: “Famous for its wine, charcuterie, and truffles. Its creamy French Brillat cheese, served with honey, was a waiter-recommended dish that is sensational. Don’t miss out’

Jo said: “Win or lose, Resorts World does what it says on its tin. You will be fabulous.”

Jo revealed that Resorts World can be found in the center of Las Vegas’s strip. The Eiffel Tower is located to the south of Las Vegas.
It is mandatory to have a glass of champers.
With 40 restaurants, there’s something for every taste and budget.
Top picks include Japanese Kusa Nori for sushi and sashimi (the yellowtail with goose liver is a must) and Wally’s for brunch.
Famous for their wine, charcuterie, and truffles, the creamy French Brillat (served in honey) is a top-rated and highly recommended cheese. Don’t miss out.
Calories can be danced off in the hotel’s starry nightclub Zouk, where guest DJs include Calvin Harris and Zedd.
Resorts World is a casino that delivers, regardless of whether you win or lose. You will ‘Stay Fabulous’. There is no better way to motivate yourself for your holiday.
